CHAPTER THREE

"open the gates!" Kiley ordered and the guards stared at themselves in confusion but still obeyed. The friends embraced each other with tears streaming down their cheeks.

"l knew you were not dead, how are you, where were you?" Kiley asked immediately they broke the hug. "l should be the one asking questions, what happened? why are you here?, are you fine?" Gwen sniffed while asking. She didn't care if the guards heard what she said, no one is going to harm her anymore because she's not the old Gwen. "let's go inside" Kiley whispered and Gwen nodded trying to be understanding.

Kiley explained how everything had started. Then when Gwen was giving birth she was the one who saw Irene going inside the theatre and she followed. Unfortunately she did not see what Irene did but she overheard Irene making a phone call about sending thugs so she carried her friend and her child away so Irene would not know their location. Due to the fact that Gwen just put to birth, it was a painful procedure.

Kiley did not know how the bandits had caught up but she knew Irene was up to no good. Being an high level sea witch she manipulated the weather and caused a storm, after making sure they were a little wet , she lured them to the highest part of the mountain. Being at the top of the mountain, they were struck by the lightning because the human body already contains water and they were at a high place which made them a good container for the lightning to pass through. She thought she had lost them but all of a sudden, Bryan's men emerged. She quickly kept her friend and her child in a safe place hoping for a miracle. Her aim was not only to save Gwen from Irene but from the whole Morgan family.

As she was about to run, a strong hand pulled her pack, it was no other person than the man she had a one night stand with. "you can imagine what would happen next. He later found out l gave birth to a baby boy six months before you gave birth. I tried so much to hide it but I was caught that day. Imagine what the George family would do if they find out they have an heir so l was forcefully married to him. You should have seen how Bryan tortured me asking about your child however l lied but he didn't believe. No one even asked about you they were all focused on your child. It was until Irene declared she had been pregnant with Bryan's child and they confirmed the child was his that he let me breath. I.... m...I...s...s...e..d youooooo"Kylie sobbed. "I'm so sorry Kylie, l put you into so much trouble, please forgive me" Gwen had tears in her eyes, all the time Kylie was saving her she was unconscious, she was only aware when Irene forced something into her mouth, after that she lost consciousness.

"I will do anything for you Gwen"Kylie hugged her friend and after staying like that for sometime, they remembered about Angel and Ivan. "it's so hurtful I missed his first steps"Gwen was hurt, Ivan was a very cute baby then. He made her always hope her baby would turn out to look like him . Her prayers were answered because Angel is a model. "l missed everything about Angel completely " Kylie said. "it's fine now you'll see her everyday " Gwen assured with a smile. After everything they have been through Gwen has vowed that no one close to her would suffer again. "when did you come back, G?" Kylie asked. "oh l came back a mother ago" she replied.

ln the Morgan empire, a young man leaned on his chair lazily, his attention fully on what his friend was showing him. "interesting" his deep magnetic voice rang out. "right? Your long lost wife decides to finally show up" Aiden remarked teasingly "point of correction, we divorced" he straightened up himself and said. "my bad, but she looks very pretty now unlike before, she looked starved" he continued and the two friends chuckled. "bro don't you think it's time you give us an heir? Your brother's wife is pregnant, who knows if it'll be a boy and everything you've worked for would be useless" Aiden asked his attention still on the two women. Kylie was unusually cheerful than he used to see her at home and she looked charming.

"not with the chicken" Bryan kept his words short. "hehehe, you know how to insult than me but true point, Irene looks like a chicken but she's beautiful all the same. So if not Irene, who then?" Aiden asked. His friends life is so complicated but very enjoyable to watch. He couldn't wait to see what would happen next. First it started with Irene hating him but loving him when Gwen married him, then Gwen ran away with his child and Irene came out of no where that she had a child for him. Now Bryan hates Irene and refuse to have a baby with her and Gwen shows up, truly remarkable.

Maybe he should spice things up by telling Irene Bryan loves Gwen or telling Gwen Bryan is in love with her, how would they react? "AIDEN GEORGE, DON'T DARE ME" noticing his friend has been too quiet for a long time which was very unusual of him and that smirk dancing on his lips, he knew Aiden was up to no good "I give up my good friend, I'm not so foolish to do something like that" Aiden raised his palms in defeat.

"you're nothing and you'll always be nothing! Is it only me or have you noticed it too Pink, that when someone like Angel comes to Queens and Kings, she makes it feel less special, she makes us less special" Whitney arched her brows and scoffed. This is the second time Angel is throwing her food on the floor claiming it is an accident. "yeah, she's so annoying, let's teach her a lesson!" Pink cheered her sister on and their friends supported them . This was the first time Angel was going against a crowd like this so she was eerily quiet. Whitney lunged at Angel who closed her little eyes preparing to take the slap but after some minutes and the slap didn't land, she gradually opened her eyes. She saw the back view of a boy, he was holding Whitney's hand and she was trying wriggle her arms free from his tight grasp. "she already said she's sorry, are you deaf or something?" his voice was calm but cold and it silenced the cheering crowd.

"Ivan let me go, she's just a country bumpkin"Whitney liked Ivan so she was not acting aggressive anymore rather she was annoyed with him for taking Angels side. "and you're a city bumpkin, you lack manners" Ivan pushed her causing her to fall. Pink rushed to help her sister up. Ivan took Angel by her arms and like a big brother he led her out of the playground.

"she'll pay for this"Whitney cried while Pink comforted her." cousin, I'II be frank with you, Angel has done nothing wrong, the playground is for playing and the cafeteria is for eating." Snow said meekly. "you just shut your your trash"Pink spat out angrily.

"thank you Ivan"Angel gave a wild smile, the boy is so brave to stand up to a meanie like Whitney. Ivan nodded while smiling lightly."l got an idea, mommy makes the best sweets let me share some" Angel suggested and the little boy nodded. Angel ran back to the classroom while avoiding the playground and brought her lunch pack. She opened the pink box revealing a dozen of baked creamy sweets. "come on eat" she urged . While eating together, Angel as usual could not keep her mouth shut and kept talking to Ivan, she told him about her grandma, her mom, her former school and how stubborn but pretty she is. To her Ivan was her first friend, every other person is scared of being her friend because Whitney and Pink tells them not to associate with her
