I headed through the living room and back to the dining room. Jen got up and followed me. There were too many people in this damned apartment, I just wanted to get my work done. I stopped and turned to her. Looking down, I crossed my arms over my chest and narrowed my eyes at her. Though she was at least a foot shorter than me, she didn’t seem intimidated.
