We split from Kinlee’s group and followed Lacey through some halls off to the right of the entryway. She stopped and turned to a blank wall. Lacey ran her hands over it and tried pushing and pulling things on and around it.
“There was a door here when I came this way earlier. It doesn’t make sense. My magic is telling me this has always been a wall.” She sighed.
“Let me see.” Val said.
Lacey moved aside and he went to touch the wall. It was like watching a fae’s glamour disappear. There was wall, then a shimmer, and a door appeared. I suppose that was one way to hide an entrance.
The door was tall and wide. Like it was meant to let in something bigger than a human. I knew I should be nervous about that, but the potion Lila made stopped that from happening.
