“He was beautiful. His hair was golden, his eyes icy blue, and the rest of him….” Gaela chuckled and hummed a little, then bit her lip. “He was intelligent and kind. I saved him and nursed him back to health, but snow fell heavily on the day he was to start his journey home. He stayed with me through the winter and asked me to come home with him and be his wife. The tone of her voice was wistful, these were happy memories for her. More than what her words said. It was a pure sort of happiness. I looked at her parents. Sun was leaning her head against Flint’s chest and he was holding her. They looked sad for her.
