The inside of the house was a stark difference from the outside. There wasn’t a single normal couch in the living room. Instead there were antique swooning couches angled toward a throne-like armchair. Small tables were arranged to the sides of all the seating. Large, flowing curtains hung over the picture window in the room. Shelves lined the walls and were filled with bones, teeth, bladed weapons, and claws in stands and cases. A river rock fireplace stood on the wall between the kitchen and the living room. There were no normal rugs, instead, large animal furs dotted the floor, which wasn’t wood or carpet.
