Once the last customers cleared out, Derrick took the deposit for the day to the bank and had a couple of the wolves who were watching over the shop move in closer. Amelia and Nixie worked on cleaning up the teahouse while I worked on restocking and straightening out the shelves in the shop. When they were finished with the teahouse, Nixie headed home while Amelia came to help me with the shop.
With so few people working, no one had been straightening up and cleaning through the day. Even though we didn't have as many customers as we usually did, the ones we had certainly made a mess. It was a lot more work than one person could handle.
I was stocking some shelves near where Amelia was sweeping. This was one of my favorite times of the day. The calm quiet of the empty shop was soothing
