Davies didn’t pay attention to Ava and left for his bedroom. He reached there in seconds with his stead steps.
He opened the door with low pressure but closed it instantly from inside.
He walked toward Lisa like a predator reaches his prey. On their hand, Lisa was still lost in her world of sorrows brought by none other than the man coming close.
Davies sighed on looking at her. How she was sitting like a kid was abused and now hiding from the abuser. Lisa's condition acted like thorns on Davies's heart.
