Chapter Twenty-Six
It was always the same, coming home. The house and everything about her father’s property was unchanged. Her parents, her sisters, and the three cottages were exactly as they had been just a day before, but at the same time everything seemed different.
It was her who was different.
Everyone was watching her as she pulled in and parked in front of her cottage. She stepped out to see her father, followed by her mother, walking over. Scarlett and Mason were behind them, and Naomi stepped out of her small cottage, as well. The screen door clattered, and everyone was giving all their attention to her.
