Chapter Three Sensible shoes were a must, and even though she’d been on her feet for only a few hours today in the maternity ward, her white Nikes with extra cushiony support seemed to be giving way. Maybe her brutalized feet were still paying the price from the previous night’s wedding. “Heard Mrs. Holly is being prepped for a C-section,” said Ivy’s colleague, Gail.
