Wait… is that GRAN!!

That night, I couldn’t sleep. Normally, I would go to sleep as soon as I lay in bed but tonight felt quite different. I stared mindlessly at the ceiling of my bedroom. The only light coming in my room was from the window a bit further away from my bed on the right side. The glass of the window shining from the moonlight. I was so zoned out that I forgot I had to sleep. If things kept on going like this I think I’ll become loony. I have to find the truth. I looked at the clock right beside my bed at the edge of the wooden table. 2:53 am. I have to sleep or my beautiful and handsome face would be ruined by dark circles lingering under my eyes. I shut my eyes real tight, trying to force myself to sleep. Failed. I tried counting imaginary sheeps, jumping on my bedroom’s ceiling. I stopped after counting one-thousand and twenty-four (1024). It wasn’t working. The air above me felt so hot. It was so hot in here. I got out of bed and opened my bedroom window to let some fresh air in but it was still too hot to breath. Damn, it’s so hot in here. And here I was trying so hard to sleep. Ã Ã .Ã I felt quite thirsty so I got out of bed, slowly opened my bedroom door and walked downstairs. The wooden floor creaking under every step I took. I went downstairs and went past the hallway but then I abruptly stopped though I didn’t wanted to. Something had made me stop and I really didn’t wanted to know why. A cold shiver ran down my spine. Looking at the mirror in the center of the hallway, remembering those whispers made me shiver. I examined the mirror for a brief second, its smooth and shiny surface making me want to touch it and stare at it forever. I ignored my crazy thoughts, went to the left side and into the living room, moved across the dining table and into the kitchen when I saw someone coming towards me. I rushed back as soon as I had realized that it was Grandma walking down here in the middle of the night. Is she sleep walking? I took a quick glance and moved back again before she could even notice. I had gotten the answer of my question and nope, she wasn’t sleep walking. Her eyes were open wide and anyone could tell that she was awake even from a huge distance. I peeked again and moved back before a sec. She went inside the kitchen. Damn it! Now how am I supposed to get water while she’s in the kitchen! And since she looks a bit scary, I think I should head back. But what the hell is she doing here in the middle of the night? Maybe she was also thirsty. I crept a bit closer, adjusting my eyes on her to look clearly in the dark. She moved too swiftly. I was surprised by her speed. I have never in my entire life seen her walking this fast, at least not when she’s almost eighty years old. And yet she seemed totally okay. Normally, Gran breaths heavily during walking but right now she seemed totally fine. Like moving at this speed was a piece of cake for her. How can she move so fast!? God, what’s happening here? I couldn’t believe my eyes. Ã Ã Ã She went outside and I then I followed her. Where is she going in the middle of the night? I had to know and I have to keep her safe. Ã Ã Ã After what seemed like an eternity, we had finally arrived at our destination. And to my surprise… it was a graveyard. What the…! Why did she came here in the middle of the night?! And not soon she went inside. What the hell! Why did she went inside? What the hell is she up to?! I knew that she was acting weird lately but why? What if my dream was not a dream?!! No, no, no, no… I have to focus, I have to follow her and get her back home safe and sound plus as soon as possible!
