I felt a lot much better after taking a cold shower. Normally, I would keep thinking about the thing in my room but tonight I was so tired and stressed out that I fell asleep as soon as I went to bed.
I had really wished that I would have a dreamless night but seems like luck wasn’t on my side.

I had dreamt about my Dad and
Grandma.
It was a really strange dream. They were standing in front of the mirror in the hallway and the strange thing is that… they looked pretty… terrified. I have never seen them like this before.
They both were saying the same thing over and over again.
“Please… leave us alone”. “Stay away from us”. “No, no, no!”
And after a few minutes, the whole atmosphere changed. They started smiling but it was a really strange smile. And there eyes were a bit too wide.
Just now they looked so pale and the next second they were grinning! What exactly is happening?
And then, the sound of my alarm clock woke me up. When I woke up I was literally surprised to find myself bathed in sweat.
I got out of bed and went to get dressed.
Thank GOD that it was just a dream.
The sweet aroma of my favorite cake had filled the hallway.
I sat on the dining table, waiting for Mom to bring my breakfast. I was famished. I had started eating my breakfast as soon as it came.
Everything was fine until I saw Dad and Grandma.
At first they looked pretty normal but there was something different about them. They looked kinda’ creepy. They were smiling for too long and they kept staring at me during the whole breakfast which made me really uncomfortable. Their smile was too wide. A normal human cannot smile this wide.
“Uhh… You okay?” They didn’t even react, not even a bit.
“What do you mean”. They both spoke in unison, like being controlled by someone.
“You know what I mean.” Their expression unreadable.
“No, we don’t.” They both said again at the same time.
“Why are you staring at me?” I
asked since they weren’t gonna’ tell me.
“No, we’re not.” Again. They never did that before, then why now.
“You are! You kept staring at me the whole time and you both didn’t even touched your food. What’s wrong with you?” I tried to keep the sense of anger out of my tone but it wouldn’t help. Their grinning faces were creeping me out.
“You’re just imagining things and we’re not hungry.” Dad said casually as if nothing has happened.
“Yeah we’re not hungry”. Gran said.
Since they weren’t going to tell me, I finished my breakfast and then went out for a walk.
