She left the room to where the children were playing and showing off their abilities some were mind controlling animals while some were practicing with their swords she got bored of watching them and decided to go to Elvins abode
“Elvins” she called happily but the feeling disappeared the moment she saw that the children were also practicing magic
“Hey Eliana...come and join us,it fun”
A blonde girl with a pretty oval face said in a mocking tone
“She is our friend” Elvins said to Amber but it seemed like a warning.
“She can’t even cast the simplest spells,Elvins! Don’t you she this female is hopeless and useless” Amber the girl said rudely as she flipped her hair on Eliana’s face
Elaina just stood there despite being incredibly hurt by her comment and the laughter it earned from the other people present.
“Bu....but Amber ...am trying my best” Elaina said with a broken heart
“But...but...you just don’t fit in!”amber snapped harshly.
Two pairs of green eyes watched the scene from a tree not far away and disappeared as Elaina ran away from the humiliation she faced
Elvins called her back but she refused and increased her pace.
Elaina ran home and met her mother just returning from the market “mom”,she cried running into her mother’s embrace she sniffed as her arms wrapped her mother
“My darling what has gotten you so upset”
“Mom” she called amidst her tears “Everyone hates me”
“Why would they hate they have no reason to my child”
“They do, they all do because I can’t cast a single spell” she said as she poured out her heart to her mother.
“Oh my child don’t harbor such negative thoughts” Tyra,her mother told her as she patted her head
“Why is it so mother, even a five year old can cast and create spells that I can’t get correctly”
Tyra sighed deeply, “ My dear,maybe this is how you were created don’t worry my child all will be well”she assured her as Elaina kept sulking on her mother’s shoulder.
