Chapter 15

Mick Pov:

It has been more than five years last I saw my mate. First I could feel her from time to time when she was in pain or worried or happy and it would make me feel the same way as her but then it all stopped, I couldn't feel her anymore. And I felt empty sometimes I think she is dead, sometimes I think she somehow cut the link so I wouldn't feel her emotions and that is what I'm leaning towards it cas I still feel the mate bond. But sometimes I'm mad at her for taking this long to come back to me.

However, I stayed loyal to her. No one even looks good enough after my mate some unmated she-wolfs always try to get my attention but I think as for them nothing they don't hold anything against my mate and that will never change so I keep waiting for her. While waiting I made my pack a lot stronger bigger and wealthier than it was before. Which is good but I can't seem to stop thinking about how it would feel if my mate was here with me. My beta and gamma already have Childers. And I want that too. They still think that I still haven't found my mate yet. I followed every word of what mate told me to do except one. She told me to not look for her but I tried and it took me nowhere so after some time I stopped and believed in my mate that she would come back to me soon. Hopefully, it will be soon now cas it has already been more than 5 years and I don't think I can last another minute without her, and that's when I hear her angelic voice in my head.

"Hey, Mick. We don't have much time Your pack will be under an attack in few minutes prepare as much as you can don't worry I'll help as much as I can" she mind links me and says 

"Kendal you are back where are you," I ask her I need to see her 

"Mike I can't this attack will be big and I have to secure the area so they can only attack from one side. I'll leave the north side open so they can only attack from there. Make sure to get your man ready there but act like it's a surprise so they won't be able to get away when everyone is in your territory ill come from behind and attack from there. I'll send one of my men to help you protect your man trust her and be ready for anything. I'll see you soon mate but please stay safe before I do." she tells me and cuts the link between us so I do as she told me to do I told my men to get ready everyone else who couldn't fight to go back to the shelter room and get ready for an attack

Kendal Pov:

I start the barrier going without them knowing they will all be going through the north entrance. And prepare for an attack. it doesn't take them too long to attack Georg, Mary and I stay behind and hide. I send Nina in so she could protect everyone from that side before I get there. When everyone is in I make sure to go in and start killing one by one. I know who is an enemy just by smelling them so I start killing them one by one. When all the rogues are dead I see Mike he is standing right in front of me. He starts walking towards me in his wolf form and I do the same and when we get close enough we both shift at the same time and stop. I don't know if to run to him and hug him or to go up to him and congratulate him for winning the battle. It's like he knows why I'm hesitating and then he opens his arms so I can run to him and I hug him as I've never hug anyone before, He then realizes that I'm naked and everyone around us can see my naked body so he growls and I laugh a little bit when no one is looking I make close appear on me and him I mean I know he doesn't want anyone seeing me naked but I don't want anyone seeing him naked either. He looks at me with a questionable eye but he is cut short when our two children run to me.

"Mom are you okay? how is dad? is he okay?" They both ask together when John walks up behind them 

"We are all okay don't worry everything went well let's go now Alpha and your mom need to talk," John says and Mick growls which only I hear so he won't scare the kids.

'Well, you did leave with a flat belly and came back with two beautiful kids. How is he supposed to know that he is their father?' Elsa says. Elsa and Amber are both happy to finally see their mate again.

'Well, I guess I have a lot more explaining to do than I thought I tell them and they both start laughing.

"Whose children? your children? and wait why is John with you? wait did you run away with him so you can be with him?" he keeps shooting question after question so I hug him again before his wolf Zack comes up to take control.

"Yes, Long story, and no" I sum up all of his questions answers and he looks at me with questionable eyes

"Let's go I have a lot to tell you so take me to your Alpha room or anywhere you feel comfortable that no one will be listening to us and ill tell you everything," I tell him and he grabs my hand and takes me to his room. The sparks that I just realized were there I mean they were always there but I was never this calm to know how amazing it feels. I miss him so much I wish I could just know if he has been waiting for me or if he has not been waiting if he has been then I just want to sleep all of this and just get to hot staff but he needs answers and I can't make him wait any longer no matter how much I want him. We get to his Office and he locks the door behind him telling Noah his beta to clean up everything and not to disturb me until he is done with me. Noah looks at me with questionable eyes and I just mouth "sorry".

"So are you ready to tell me everything or are you going to despair again?" he looks at me with so much hurt that I have closed in his eyes and all I want to do is go hug him and tell him that I'm sorry but before I can do that I need to know I can trust him so I start talking.

"Yes and NO! Well, my story is a long story and I need to know if I can trust you!" I tell him with a straight face so he can't read from my face what I'm feeling now. 

"You need to know if you can trust me! Well, the same goes for you can I trust you? I was with this amazing girl one week and then I spend this amazing night with her and then later the next day I find out that this amazing girl that I have fallen in love with was my mate, and then the attack happens to my pack and somehow she knows it was gonna happen before it did, and then again I go to bed with my beautiful mate and wake up to a letter saying that she has to leave and she can't tell me why or where, and then again she comes back after more than five years and mind links me that the attack was going to happen and to prepare my pack for it and tells me to do all that stuff. And I follow everything that you say from top to bottom and then you come back with two beautiful children from someone else other than me?! after all I waited all this time for you I couldn't even look at another she-wolf because you were the most beautiful she-wold in my eyes and no one could take that away but then you do this to me and ask me if I can trust you!?" he says with so much hurt in his words it makes me want to cry and a tear falls over my chicks
