Chapter 13

Kendal Pov:

We've been on a run for a month already. We haven't had any problem so far I've learned to cover our sent while we are on a run so no one could follow us. John and I have been going through towns when we needed more supplies however a few weeks ago I decided to get a pregnancy test. I didn't say anything to John and it came up positive he still doesn't know but he will soon fins out I cant Shift anymore so I asked him to buy a car. I have only two more months left until I have a baby and he is going to be the one who helps me with it so I guess it's best to tell him now than later. 

"Hey, John I've been meaning to tell you this but Umm How should I say this..." I'm cut off and left hanging when he says 

"Kendal I know you are pregnant I've known that I think before you did and I saw you get the pregnancy test a few weeks ago." 

"How did you know?" I ask 

"Well first I asked you to go by the towns remember cas you were having morning sickness every day and then you would get tired easily and then I also sow u get the pregnancy test and when you got out of the bathroom I could see it all over your face you were happy but also so worried. so I put two and two together and got the equation right," he said. Damn that guy is good.

 "Anyway how long do we have to follow my gut feeling I mean I'm not even sure what I'm following now all I want are sweets or sour stuff to eat," I ask me and he starts laughing 

"That's for sure last two stops have been at Walmart and target but I think Both of your got feelings are still in the sink because we haven't changed our path so we'll be there soon. 

After about another month of driving to nowhere, we came to this town called midtown and it was just calling my name so we stayed there. 

"Hey, John let's go find a place to eat, and let's find a place to stay for a while I just have this gut feeling that we are where we suppose to be at I guess so let's just stay here for a while. But for now, let's go get some burgers please." I tell him and we go to this place called Burgers All You like I know weird but hey just what I and my baby needs. We get in the burger place and there are no customers. We go and get a table to sit down and two females and one male walks up to me and bows.

"My Queen you've finally arrived," they all say together and the one female with blond hair and gray eyes looks at John and then they both say "Mate" well today just got crazier.

"Well, I'm happy that I finally found you cas I don't think I would be able to keep driving nowhere like this. And I already said this to John right here If you call me Queen one more time like this when you don't have to and I'm being serious right now cas I'm really hungry ill make sure you won't be able to say anything else for another week or so depending on how fast your wolfs heal. So please call me Kendal and what are your names and Before You continue and we all get to know one another and all that can you go ask the cook to make me a burger with fries and for a drink, I'll take strawberry milkshake and water Please I'm really hungry? " I ask them and they all laugh John also orders what he wants and the man gets up and starts going to the kitchen and soon after walks out with peppy, water, and a milkshake in his hands. 

"OMG I already love this one John" I smile at the man and tell John how much I already love him just because he got me my milkshake

"Thank you my Que--- I mean Kendal. My name is Georg And this is my mate Nina And this is Mary" and John smiles when he learns his mate's name. 

"That's great well I'm Kendal which you Already know and this is my protector John. Why don't you sit down and we can discuss all of this and what I'm suppose to do next because my gut feeling is a little bit messed up right now" and I point to my belly which shows my small baby bump.

"Well if you ask me It works just fine if you weren't hungry you wouldn't have come in here to eat some burgers and it would take a little bit longer for you to find us," Nina responds to me

"Well, when you think that way it does make sense now. I'm sorry baby I never meant to blame this on you love you," I tell her, and then I look at my belly and tell it to my unborn child. Which makes all of them laugh out loud. 

"She does that a lot so you are gonna have to get used to it but it's always this funny," John says and they start laughing again.
