The alarm went off at 6:30 am; Joshua seems to stay in one position the entire night. Maria was now lying on her back, head on his right arm still hands cupping her head while his left arm resting on her stomach, he's more relax now. So she made it out of his embrace easily, she moves quickly but quietly and took any outfit that she could get in her wardrobe and tip toe out her room to shower in the bathroom next room. This time it only took her 15 minutes in the shower and quickly changed and left her place leaving the sleeping Joshua on her bed.

Today, she's even earlier than usual. As soon she arrives she starts working, she thought of calling Joshua a bit later as he's probably will come in the afternoon. As a President, it is not necessary for him to report on duty like any regular employees working for him that's why he has her as his Executive Assistant but knowing Joshua, he's hands on at every detail when it comes to his Companies. It's almost 12pm; she sends him a message one hour past still no response. She's having late lunch in the pantry enjoying the food Marco bought for her then thought of calling him again and this time he answered.

"Afternoon Mr. Elliot, aren't you coming in the office this afternoon?" She asked hearing some noises in the background confirming that he left her flat already.

"No, am not. I have some errands to do, so take care of the Company. If anything just ring me." He replied nonchalantly

"Okay Sir" she replied then hung up on him

After lunch, she collects all the personal files of the employees from her desk that they had conducted an investigation and went to Human Resources Department instead of letting Marco do it as a surprise visit. The Department suddenly becomes busy with her appearance, apart from being the Right-hand-Control of the President; everyone knows what kind of Executive Assistant she is, even when she was in the Legal Affairs. Maria is well respected even from before. Once she was back in her office, she starts the summary report of the investigation they did enclosing the proof and put it inside Joshua's office. It's already almost 7pm when Joshua called her.

"Where are you?" he asked her

"Office Mr. Elliot?" She replied at him

"At this hour?" He asked again

"Yes, I normally do this. Why?" she replied then suddenly heard her phone beeps, Joshua request switch to video call where she accepts.

"What time are you going home?" He asked. Seeing her seated in her swivel chair calms him that she's really in the office.

"I am getting ready for home but then you called" She replied to him

"Okay, drive safely" then both hung up the call

The day went well even without her Boss. She considers her day fruitful; she made one last check in her and his office before heading out of the building. Driving home, she thought of Joshua, why he was acting weird? Why he was so defensive. Then, reminded her to control her emotions. Maria don't fall for his actions, it's all an Act. Less than 30 minutes she's in front of her building parking her car and walk towards Pearl Tower. Unlocking her front door she smells food being cook, she suddenly feels hungry. She opened the door and saw Joshua Elliot in her kitchen ...shirtless but with an apron...cooking and grooving with the back ground music. She lightly closes the door and leans on the wall her arms crossed over her chest while watching him do his thing. Damn! He's so f*****g hot with that small Apron on his body and that sexy move he got there. I wish I was that Apron she thought to herself. As if Joshua felt her presence, he looks at her direction and saw her leaning on the wall. They just look at each other not talking but just smiling at each other. She wanted to run and give him a kiss, she was actually happy to see him still in her place.

"How long have you been watching me?" Joshua was the first one to break the silence, face blushing as he is sure that she saw him dancing while he is cooking.

"For a while" approaching him in the kitchen.

"I cooked dinner...sorry for invading your space. Also, I found the spare key of your flat in the drawer of the table near the entrance door" He said with a childish smile on his face.

Maria just smiled and came closer to see what he's cooking but she was push by him.

"Go wash your hands first" he said sticking his tongue out at her

"I was just to conduct food tasting" raising her voice a little to him but she obediently washes her hands then set the table and sat on the counter stool while waiting for him to finish cooking. Avoiding the situation last night, she just fills him in about work but Joshua wouldn't let the situation slip away.

"Hey, about last night...I am sorry for suddenly barging in drunk. When you send the photo I got worried that you may get upset at me." He explained, he didn't disregard No. 5 in the agreement but there is something in him that doesn't want her to get jealous.

"You're just worried of the punishment that I might impose on you, seriously you can simply message me" She makes fun of him

"No, I prefer to explain to you face to face. Punishment? Bring it on!" He replied blushing

Maria noticed that his face becoming red...Is he blushing?

"You're even explaining in a murmur last night while you're almost asleep" She said making fun of him again

"I know, I even pulled you to sleep with me." He said and looks direct at her. This time it's her time to blush.

Save by the Bell, Joshua's phone rings

"Hey Mom...uhhmmm I am with Maria. Okay I'll call you back in 2 minutes?" He said to her Mom and hung up.

"Maria that was Mom, she is inviting us for dinner." He said to her

"Why don't you invite them over, you've cook a lot anyways." She said delighted upon learning that his Parents within the area.

"Okay, cool. I'll call her now and tell her the place. Thanks" He replied and calls her Mom back

Within 10 minutes, his Parents arrived. They all greeted each other. Maria hugged his Parents.

"Okay, Shall we have our dinner? I cooked all those food by the way" Joshua brags to his Parents and laugh

"These are good Honey" Maria said to Joshua

"Then I deserve a kiss" He replied pouting his lips while eyes close

Maria blushed as she wasn't expecting him to act like that in front of his Parents; she purposely ignored him and continues eating.

"I think you better kiss my Son, he won't open those eyes unless you kiss him" Kevin jokingly said

The blushing Maria had no choice but kiss Joshua who opens his eyes when he felt her lips on his.

"Have you seen my Son, Kevin?" Lisa laughs as she can't believe how his Son is behaving.

As the night is getting late Maria offers Joshua's Parents to stay for the night, both didn't refuse. She then went inside her bedroom to change the bedding and the pillow cases and took 2 new pillows from the other room when she noticed that her packages where no longer there. I'll deal with it later then went back in her bedroom. Meanwhile Joshua took a shirt and pair of short for his Dad in his duffel bag. Maria noticed that he has some ready clothes.

"Why you have a duffel bag here?" She anxiously asked him

"Just in case I end up again in your place then I have ready clothes" He said with a smile

"Oh okay" She replied

Huh, he thought of that? Seems like he enjoys staying here and he has plans on staying more often. Giggling to herself. She went to her walk in closet and took a new set of Pjs that still in a plastic fully sealed. And put it in the bed so Lisa can change later. Then she went inside the toilet and took 2 new toothbrushes and put it in the counter.

"Your room is ready now Mom and Dad, You can have our room for tonight." Joshua said with a proud smile on his face while emphasizing the word "Our".

Maria just smile at him and shook her head without letting his Parents see her reaction. But deep inside she's actually thrilled to hear this from Joshua. Just like a real couple but sadly they're not.

They said their goodnights. Maria cleans the kitchen while Joshua watches her

"I'll just clean the kitchen, you wait in the living room" She said to him

"Okay fine Madam" He sarcastically replied

Less than half an hour "All done" She said then it hit her. Oh geez that means we will sleep together in one bed again tonight. As if Joshua can read her thoughts, she saw him run towards the guest room chuckling like a kid. All she could do was laugh as well.

Inside the guest room, both had their turns to shower and went to bed.

"Behave" Maria said to him then switched off the lamp beside her and lay down comfortably when she felt his arms pulls her to face him She tries not to turn him but he was so strong comparing to her. Left no choice as she was tired but lay her head on his chest, she likes the sound of his heartbeat while Joshua put his right hand on her head and runs his fingers in her hair soon enough she doze off. Joshua notice that running his finger on her hair and letting her sleep on his chest makes her sleep quickly. He smiled and continuously plays with her hair while his left hand took her right arm and let it rest on his stomach covering her hands with his, then a bit later he fell asleep too.
