Enjoying the weekends with the Millers

At Miller's Residence, the Family gathered for breakfast. It's been their tradition that every weekend they spend time together.

"We're glad you're spending the weekend with us, Maria" Phoebe Miller, Joshua's Mom one of the highest paid model in her younger years and a Business woman said to Maria while handing the breadbasket to her "It's nice having my 3 daughters complete this weekend" She continues on smiling at them.

"We missed you so much Sis" Jessie and Josie said in chorus who gives Maria a hug as she was seated in between them.

"Joshua told us that your Boss is Joshua Elliot; his Father must have turned over everything to him while he is still young" Damien Miller, a well-known Cardiothoracic Surgeon globally said to her.

"Yes, he just arrive a couple of days ago from Canada. Last week was a chaos in the office, new management structure is being implemented "She explained to them

After breakfast they planned to hit the 3J Mall, newest addition in their Businesses of Shopping Malls. Inside the Mall, the appearance of Joshua Miller cause commotion as some people recognize him as the Model in the billboard exhibited in different parts of South Africa. His Family and Maria are used to such kind of scene; occasionally they will stop when he's being stalled for autographs or having a picture with him while they don't mind waiting.

"So when are you going to introduce this girl to us?" Maria asked Joshua

"Definitely not now, this is your time with my Family which is technically yours too" He replied to her with a sweet smile then put his arms on her shoulder

They went to a clothing line; Maria got herself a pair of corporate attires and random stuffs. They visit random stores and the girls seem to always find something to buy.

"I want to buy perfume" Maria said to Joshua

"Okay, let's go to the Gallery Scent" He replied to her

Maria bought herself 2 bottles of perfume, each 100ml. Then she wanders around the store to see what perfumes she can buy for her best friend and his Family too. When she got everything her nose was already clogged due to sniffing too many perfumes. Then she thought of Joshua Elliot, should she buy one for him too or what, in the end she bought one for him too. Then she went to the counter to pay.

"Are you planning to open a perfume shop?" Her best friend ask while laughing at her

"Actually yes" She replied then stuck her tongue out at him whilst sneezes in front of him.

"Eeew! Such a beautiful Woman but a disgusting one!" Joshua jokingly said to her while laughing with his Sisters.

After shopping, they went to have their lunch then resume splurging after. When the girls got tired they head home.

"Mother, remind me not to join these girls next time. I feel my arms are even longer now." Whines Joshua.

Everyone laughs at him who sat beside Maria to get sympathy who then massages his arms to alleviate the strained. . In the evening, they just stayed at home and watch random movies in their theater room and eat their heart out with all the snacks they got in the fridge.

Meanwhile, Joshua Elliot keeps on checking his phone to see if there's a message from Maria but no luck. What could she be doing now? He asked himself. Paranoid, he feels like picking her up now but calmed himself. Tomorrow, if she doesn't show up here as she said I will really pick her up there no matter how late it is. Then as the evening gets deeper he finally dozes off with his phone still in his hand.

At the Miller's, since the girls already went up in their bedrooms leaving Joshua and Maria in the theater room. They started updating each other about their life, Maria admitted to her best friend that she is kind of confused with what's happening between her and Joshua Elliot where her best friend just attentively listens to her.

"I am already anticipating these things and I am really worried that you are inviting heartbreaks again" Joshua said to her

"I know, what should I do Boxer?" She asked him for advice as usual

"Talk and be straight with him and ready your emotions for whatever answer he will give you" He said calmly running his fingers in her hair while her head is resting on his arm.

"Okay Boxer, so how about this girl? What's her name?" She replied

"Keia, we are communicating. I told her about you. I showed her your photo and she finds you very beautiful" He said

They stayed and chatted for an hour more before they said their goodnight. In the guest room, Maria thought of what her best friend said to her "You fall, I'll catch you". She can't help but shed a few tears for being so lucky to have a best friend like Joshua. He knows a lot about her past heartbreak not only in love but with her Family too then she lay down and tries to get some sleep but she keeps on turning. She missed him so much! She took her phone and dialed his number...busy! She then sends him a message. "Call me!"

Meanwhile, Joshua Elliot suddenly opens his eyes and thought of Maria. He missed her so much! He took his phone and dialed her number....busy! He then sends her a message "Call me!" He tried but busy still, we might be calling each other simultaneously he thought. He then message her again "Don't call me, I'll call you". After 3 rings the call was picked up.

"Hello" She answered

"Hi, what time are you coming home tomorrow?" He asked straight away

"Hmmn...maybe not coming home tomorrow, I'll go straight to work Monday morning since I bought new suit anyways "She answered him playfully

"I'll surely see you tomorrow night" He said confidently at her

"You sure are confident huh" She said

"Because I know you missed me so much" He teased her

"How's your lip?" She asked, playfully

"Hmmnnnn...see you do miss me. You are thinking of what you did before you left me" He teased her again.

They talk for 2 more hours , flirting and teasing each other before saying good nights. Both slept with a smile on their faces
