Found my missing items…I feel someone is playing a trick on me

The following morning, Joshua was awakened by Maria's alarm clock. He opens his eyes and noticed that she's till sleeping her face burrowed in his neck while her right arm is resting on his chest. This put a smile on his lips, he reach for her phone on her side and hid it under his pillow, so not to wake Maria up. Then took his own phone and take a shot of them and save it in the gallery. The flash made Maria move a bit but right away went back to sleep same as him who also doze off right away. Past 10 in the morning, Maria woke up seeing Joshua beside him who was already up and checking his emails on his phone.

"Good Morning, sleepy head' He said putting his phone down and looking at her

"Huh, why are you here?" She asked with puckered brows

"You do know that I have servants here. We don't want them nattering to my Parents that we sleep in separate rooms, don’t we?." He said simply

"What time is it? She asked while looking for her phone.

"Past 10 am" He replied back

"s**t! I am late why didn't you wake me up? And my phone! Great just great now it's my phone missing" She said angrily, kneeling and bending forward to peek under the bed to see if she had dropped her phone last night. Joshua right away took her phone under his pillow and put it under her pillow, then got up from his side and walks on her side. Standing behind her while she was in such position something in him got excited. By now Maria was now on fours when she looked back and saw Joshua standing behind her with a naughty smile on his lips.

"What are you staring at pulling down her nighties to cover part of her ass that was showing as the nighties was too short." She said to him a bit annoyed, she then stood up both hands on her ass as she walks pass him to go in the bathroom to freshen up.

"Pervert" She yelled at him

Oh pervert huh! Joshua thought to himself and took his phone and sends the new image to her. Maria heard her phone beeps and runs towards the bed again, she checks under her pillow and there it was. With a confused face, did I put it there last night? She thought to herself. She opened her phone to see a message from Joshua and saw the image. She throws a pillow at him who at this point was laughing hysterically at her expression; it hit him in the face that makes him stop laughing.

"You did that on purpose, to look like I am nuzzling your neck whilst embracing you. You always take advantage of me" She accused him

At this point, Joshua walks towards her and pushes her and pinned her in the bed. In her lower abdomen, she could feel his thing hardened. Then he kissed her.

"Next time, I won't be just perving on you. I will do something that I am sure we will both enjoy" He said with a devilish smile on his face

"Get off me, you rascal! The next time you take advantage of me, I'll tell your Parents that you force me to sign an agreement to act as your Girlfriend and when I decline you threaten to terminate me at work" She replied at him while he's still on top of her

"Well I guess with that threat then I don't have to wait for next time. I think we should make love now before you tell my Parents nonsense!" He said with a naughty smile then tickling her in most sensitive parts of her body that makes her scream.

Meanwhile, the servant was about to knock on his room with wireless phone on her hand but stopped when she heard some screaming and laughing inside. The caller from the other line also heard the noises inside the room and just smiled then told the servant not to disturb then hung up the call.

Running to where her husband is "Kevin, sweetheart! I think a baby is in the making. She said to him happily. While having breakfast, the servant informs Joshua that his Mom called so he returned the call.

"Mom, you called earlier? What's up? He asked his Mother

"Oh nothing, you and Maria seems busy earlier so I just hung up" Lisa replied to her Son.

"Yes Mom, we are busy earlier. Appreciate for not disturbing us!" He said winking at Maria who choked whilst blushed hearing what he said to her Mom.

Joshua pours her a glass of water while still on the phone with her Mom. After breakfast, Maria freshens up and waited in the living room for Joshua who was having a shower. While waiting she save images Joshua sent her and made a call to her best friend.

"Hey, how's it going with you? She asked Joshua

"Busy at work as usual, so are we still on this weekend? He asked her

"Yup, we are still. I'll drive there after work" She confirmed to him.

"Okay, I have to go now as I have a meeting in 2 minutes. Bye" Joshua said to her and hung up.

Meanwhile Joshua Elliot who was leaning on the wall for a while heard everything and seems displease.

"So, you're spending your weekend with your best friend huh?" He asked with a sarcastic tone.

"Yes, It's been a while since I last time visited the Millers" She replied to him and stood up walking to the door.

On their way to her place, she called again the caretaker of Pearl Tower and this time the call was successful. She agreed to have the door knob of her main door be dismantled. They stopped at the hardware to buy a new door knob. In the building the caretaker was waiting for them in the ground floor and all of them went to her flat. Joshua watches the caretaker dismantle the door knob and replaced with a new one, after accomplishing his task he gave him a good tip.

"I'll pay you back once I found my wallet " She said to him who just ignored her and sat on the couch.

Maria went inside her bedroom and had a quick shower and change into black jeans and nude fitted shirt. Then just wore a golden hoops earring, infinity necklace and her black stainless watch. She put her hair in a messy bun then went in the living room. But she didn't see Joshua there; he was in the balcony talking to someone on the Phone. She didn't mind so she sat down on the couch while waiting for him.

"Be sure no records found...say like a technical issues up to now" he said then went back inside and saw her sitting on the couch.

"Okay, let's go" He said to her

At the 60th floor of Elliot Group, Maria runs in the bathroom in her office as she badly needs to pee. After her loo break, she opened the bottom drawer of her office desk and slides her hands at the innermost part of the drawer and suddenly touched something. Taking the items out, it was her leather key holder and wallet. Puzzled how it happened she thought of checking with the Security Department if they caught something yesterday in her office. Little did she know she's being watched by Joshua in his own CCTV monitor in his office who just had a word with the Head IT and Head Security.

"Are you working today?" She asked him

"Yes but will leave early" He answered her

"I found my wallet and key holder , I am going down to the Security Department" She said to him then left his office.

Meanwhile Joshua walks in the balcony of his office to smoke...chuckling. You will never find out the little trick I played on you Maria he thought to himself. Then went back to his desk to check all the emails and the financial report he received. When he saw in the monitor that she is back on her seat, he went out and checks on her.

"Found anything?" He asked her

"Nope, So weird!" She replied looking him straight in the eye

He walks to her side and took her hands "Let's have lunch, I am sure you're hungry" He said

Upon hearing food, she became hungry and happily walks with him

While having lunch, Joshua asked her if he could come with her to visit the Millers. But he was just responded by a laugh and a crispy NO. Disappointed he didn't push anymore. They headed back in the Company after having their break but before going inside they went to check her car just to see that the flat tire was replaced with new.

"You had this fix, right?" She said to him

"So?" He replied and walk towards the building

That night, Maria has a peaceful night at her flat. Tomorrow after work, she'll go straight to the Miller's estate and spend the weekend with them she reminded herself before dozing off.
