Inside her car she switched off her phone, the tears that she was controlling not to stream down her face earlier was now unstoppable. She started the engine of her car and decided to drive to Camps bay just down the road from Clifton. Maria parked in the open space where she can enjoy the view of the curving crescent of Camps bay beach. The place gives her tranquility; whenever she feels blue, gazing at the dramatic peaks of the twelve Apostles range part of Table Mountain. She rolled down her car window and enjoy the breeze touching her skin and close her eyes recollecting what happened earlier, she felt her heart shattered. He was right after all; she knew that they’re just pretending from the beginning. She was just being hopeful that it will lead to something serious but she was wrong
