"I can't believe you were able to pull this off," I said with a shake of my head as we strolled into the mall. "Anthony doesn't really like it if I go anywhere without him," I glanced at Olivia as we took the escalator.
She chuckled at me, "Maybe he doesn't like seeing me hovering over you every time you come back from work, so he allowed me to take you out this one time," she responded. "He's been like that for a very long time now. He wouldn't let me leave the house as well. It wasn't until I proved to him that I can take care of myself that he finally agreed to let me study abroad."
"You must be lucky that he allowed you to do that," I sighed. "I don't think there will ever come a day where I get to prove to him that I am capable of taking care of myself in the supernatural world."
