I walk outside early and head to the training field. There are hundreds of circles. There are wolves fighting in both wolf and human form. Christopher is standing on a raised hill watching the training. I come up and stand next to him. His shoulder muscles tighten. He doesn’t turn his head away from the training wolves. I stand there for a moment before I get bored. I spot Jaxon fighting a very large dark man. I walk forward and stop at their circle. Jaxon stops the fight and looks at me. “Ever have a woman beat you?” I ask Jaxon. There is a twinkle in his eyes as he grins at me.
