He watched them operate on his father through the half transparent door, a tear drop rolling down his cheek
"I lost my mom, I can't loose you dad" he murmured walking out of the ward
Unknown to him, Prince, who was just brought back alive walked through the area with
unfamiliarity filled in his gaze, looking haggard and unkept, he walked here and there till night dawn with no particular destination
"Mr Hedwin" Mick called out as he sighted him walking out of his office
"Mr Hedwin" he called again as he caught up with him and that made Mr Hedwin turn back
"Micheal " Mr Hedwin said on turning back to see him
"I would like to have a conversation with you, are you free now?" Mick asked sighing heavily and Mr Hedwin nodded in response
"I'm just going back home, maybe we could grab a cup of......."
"No need, I need a buyer, I want to sell our house"
"What? Do you know what you're talking about?"
"Well I can't watch my father die! I'm pretty sure the documents are with you" Mick said and Mr Hedwin cleared his throat in annoyance
"As his lawyer, I can't just sell out his properties without his permission"
"You have my permission" Mick replied sharply taking few steps back
"Give me a feedback when you find a buyer" Mick said finally leaving him for the door, walking out as fast as he could
Michael and his gang walked into the bar as usual, finding a seat for themselves
Bella who just finished serving a customer sighted him and looked away immediately avoiding is gaze
But when Michael's eyes caught her, he immediately stood on his feet walking toward her
Seeing that he wouldn't stop following her, she turned back sharply breathing heavily
"What do you want from me Michael"
"What I have always wanted" he replied moving closer to her
He caged her into the wall behind them and just that moment, prince happens to be passing by and saw the scene and it felt like he had seen the same scene once before, that made him walk towards them, pulling Michael away from her
Prince's grip on Michael's arm was firm, pulling him away from Bella. Michael's eyes flashed with anger, but Prince's intense gaze made him hesitate.
"Let go of me!" Michael snarled, trying to shake off Prince's grip.
Prince's eyes locked onto Michael's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Then, Prince released Michael's arm, his gaze never wavering.
"Leave her alone," Prince said, his voice low and even.
Michael's anger seemed to dissipate slightly, replaced by curiosity. "Who are you?" he asked, eyeing Prince's disheveled appearance.
Bella took advantage of the distraction to slip away, her eyes darting between Prince and Michael.
Prince's gaze followed Bella, then returned to Michael. "Just...leave her alone," he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper.
With that, Prince turned and walked away, leaving Michael and Bella staring after him
Bella's eyes widened slightly as she took another look at Prince. She seemed to be searching for something in his face, but it was unclear if she recognized him.
Michael, however, was certain. "That's Prince, the guy who disappeared years ago," he said, his voice filled with surprise.
Prince, sensing their gazes, slowed down his pace, but didn't turn back. He disappeared into the crowd, leaving Michael and Bella staring after him.
"What happened to him?" Michael wondered aloud. "He looks...different."
Bella's expression was thoughtful, her eyes still fixed on the spot where Prince vanished
As Prince disappeared into the crowd, he couldn't shake off the feeling that his past was closing in on him. Memories began to resurface, fragmented and unclear, but haunting nonetheless.
He walked aimlessly, trying to escape the thoughts swirling in his mind. But the more he walked, the more he felt like he was being pulled back to a place he couldn't remember.
Suddenly, Prince stopped in his tracks. A name echoed in his mind: "Ana" Who was she? And why did her memory feel so important?
Prince's eyes scanned the surroundings, as if searching for answers. But all he saw were strangers, their faces a blur
Prince's thoughts drifted to Bella, and he pictured her face in his mind. A spark of recognition ignited, and he felt a pang of longing. Had they been close? The memories lingered just out of reach.
As he stood there, lost in thought, Prince's gaze fell upon a small, worn-out photograph in his pocket. It was creased and faded, but one face stood out – Bella's. A message on the back read: "Forever, Bella."
Prince's heart skipped a beat. Bella? The name echoed again. Was Bella the Ana he was thinking of? The connection felt real, but something didn't add up
Prince decided to confront Bella about their past. He made his way back to the bar, determination in his steps. As he entered, Bella looked up, sensing his presence.
"Prince," she said softly, surprise etched on her face.
"Bella," Prince replied, his voice firm but controlled. "We need to talk."
Bella's eyes darted around the bar, before nodding slightly. "Let's go somewhere private."
Prince followed her to a quiet corner, his heart racing with anticipation. "Who is Ana?" he asked directly, his eyes locked on hers.
Bella's expression faltered, and she took a deep breath. "You don't remember, do you?"
"What don't I remember?" Prince pressed, his patience wearing thin.
Bella's eyes filled with a mix of sadness and longing. "You used to call me Anabella. We were...in love."
Prince's world tilted. The photograph, the memories, it all made sense now
