The days dragged on slowly and Amelia's trainings continued until it was finally time for the ritual. The moon hung brightly in the sky like a round ball and Amelia wringed her fingers nervously as she sat waiting in her room. "Princess, it is time." Mandy called out and Amelia tightened the grip she had on her cloth in panic. Her heart burned with anxiety at the expectation of what was to come. "Are you alright?" Mandy asked on noticing the sweat dripping down her face despite the chilly night air and Amelia shook her head. "I'm not, my anxiety is eating me up deep inside. I can't help but think of the worst." She smiled wryly at Mandy. "It will be fine, you will do great." Mandy said, Patting her hands. She wondered why Mandy had so much faith in her when she herself did not feel
