I nodded though, "Give me a second, I will get you the stuff." I went to my office, got the bag, and went back to give it to her. She kissed me on the cheek and told me that she would call me soon and I made sure Elena could hear everything. But again, I was the one being aggravated because of her laughter with Fred which was just getting louder with time. "Fred, enough stupidness, we have a meeting." I approached them. Fred got up so I walked away. "Excuse me! I was playing here!" She yelled from behind me. I smirked. I heard her walk closer to me so I stopped walking away. I didn't have to turn to face her because she came to stand in front of me. At that moment, I couldn't have been happier seeing her angry. She placed her hands on her hips and tilted her head, waiting for my response. But I allowed myself to stand back, smile, and watch the amusing scene in front of me. "Hello!" She waved her hand in front of my face making my smirk even wider, "didn't you see that we were playing?" I caressed her chin with the biggest smirk on my face. I took one last look at her and then walked away leaving her confused. "Tomorrow is the mission, boys," I stated, "we need to be very careful. Since spying on Fox didn't help then tomorrow we will try to be just careful and use our senses." "This is too dangerous, Huncho. I have a bad feeling about tomorrow," Marco spoke. I shook my head, "it is too late to back down now. We can do this." I took a deep breath. "Now let me introduce to you the good news. These past three days, as I told you, I went on a trip to try to find any strength to add to ours. And I succeeded by bringing The Trojans to protect us." "No way!" Damien's eyes widened. I nodded. "Layla who you met earlier is Al Trojan's assistant. She came with me to take the cash for them to be there with us tomorrow. They will take the same cash every month to be on our side, which is very reasonable." "That is amazing news, Huncho." Sanchez clapped and laughed. "This does make me feel a little better," Marco chuckled. "Just remember, tomorrow our focus is to save the SP pills at any cost." I was sipping on my whiskey as the boys were getting the weapons and the pills ready for the next day. Elena was standing with Marco and Fred, talking in an unusually low voice. I shook it off and went to the gym room and trained to get ready for the next day. I took a deep breath and took another sip of my whiskey to get my thoughts straight. I watched the boys get ready for the mission. Some were gathering the pills and the others were getting our weapons ready. I made sure they separated the fake pills from the real SP and told them to put them in two different cars and wait for my sign to start moving. I contacted The Trojans and they said that they were ready to start moving. I needed every single strong soul to be there defending the real pills. I told Damien and Fred that they would go with some members of The Trojans with the real pills. Marco, Sanchez, and the rest of The Trojans went with me with the fake pills. I planned everything perfectly. If we saw Fox then we would be able to get protected. If we see the real man, we will take him in our car and tell him that for more safety, we will have to drive somewhere else. Everything was well planned. I took another deep breath, wishing that nothing would go wrong. Elena walked in. She looked around unable to understand what was going on. "What is going on?" Her eyes locked with the gun in my hand. I made sure it was fully loaded and put it in its cover around my waist. "Everything is ready, Huncho." Fred tapped my shoulder and turned around to join the others. I nodded. "You will be alone for the rest of the night." I approached her as Fred walked out. "Where are you going?" "We have a mission today. If it goes well, our lives will be perfect." "How?" "I will tell you when I come back." I saw it in her eyes, she didn't want to stay alone. She was scared to stay alone. She looked around, probably trying to figure out what to do. "We won't stay long." I tried to make her feel better but nothing changed. I pushed her chin to bring her eyes to mine. Those dark caramel eyes looked into mine, digging so deep into my soul, silently begging for comfort and safety. "I said it to you a million times before and I will say it again, Elena. As long as I am alive, no one will hurt you." I tilted my head as she let out a long sigh which made me feel just a little better. I nodded. The rest of the night was expected. I sent the car with the real SP pills to the other address and hopped in the car with Marco and Sanchez. We started moving followed by The Trojans. We arrived on time. It was dark. The only source of light was from our car's high beams and the other beams of the car, parked in the opposite direction. In front of it stood many men. "Why does this look so sketchy?" Marco said and looked at me. I looked at the side mirror on my right and saw The Trojans park behind us. I nodded, opened the car, and got out. Marco and Sanchez followed my steps. I walked closer, waiting for the mystery to be resolved. And it quickly did. Fox finally got out of the car. I put my hand on my gun just in the same second all his men pointed their guns at me. I heard all the guns behind me get loaded and ready to fire. "Chill, chill, chill," He yelled, "we're not here for war, Huncho. We are here for one thing and one thing only." He shrugged, stepping closer to me, thinking that he had won. "I told you last time that the game wasn't over, Huncho." I scoffed, "And now you think it is?" "Get the pills. Put them in our car." I would have paid millions of dollars to see his reaction knowingly that the pills his eyes popped out of their socket when they saw them were fake. I turned to watch the men take the loads and put them in the back of their car. This moment was very amusing to me. "I told you, Huncho. I told you one day I will take revenge." He said. "You think this is revenge?" I smirked and stepped closer to him, "are you truly satisfied?" I looked around. Marco and Sanchez looked amused as well. "No matter how much you try to be better than me, Fox, you will still be the one who got kicked out of The Brads because you were no good and I, the little boy I was, took your place and took your attention. And now I am the head of The Brads and you – are absolutely nothing." Before realizing what he was doing and without anything processing his moves, he pulled out his gun. He loaded it. And took a shot at me. What happened before we drove away took about two or three minutes but living it felt way longer than that as if everything happened in slow motion. I didn't realize that I was hurt until my hand was full of dark red blood because I placed it on my shoulder. Many gunshots were fired after that. I was pulled by someone and pushed inside the car. I felt a severe burning sensation in my right shoulder as we drove off. And all I was thinking about was, "Fox needs to be killed. And I wanted to be the one killing him."
