The next day, Aya's group left their station early.
"Aya, will you be careful?" Noknok ask her when they were outside the station.
"Its them who should be careful!" Aya's right soldier answered Noknok and they laughed. His name is Kalo, he is a big man whose weapon is two round iron and has sharp edges.
"Don't leave the old man alone, huh? Don't forget to fetch water for his bath." Aya words to Noknok. She is talking about the General.
"Aya, don't worry. I'll fetch water for the generals bath every day." Nonok handed the bow and spear to Aya. Aya then started riding the horse and the fellow soldiers who were all on horseback followed.
It is also quite far from their station to stream which divides the land of the two kingdoms.
"I can't believe we are about to get back the crown prince." Kalo broke their quiet journey. They sense something different from the aura of their team captain.
"It is said that only the elite soldiers can approach any member of the monarch family." The soldier behind Kalo said.
They laughed.
"hahahaha Then our popularity has reached Paldreko, hahahaha, it just means that our group is one of the best in the kingdom. Is that right team captain?"
Aya did not answer Kalo's question because she was worried about what could happen and if they could save the prince? But even if it she has to go to the raining sword, she will still have to save the next King because the fulfillment of his revenge depends on him now.
The wind blew hard as Aya's short hair dance up to her shoulders.
Aya felt in her heart what the wind was saying. In fact she did not know why for she understood the wind, since she became soldier and often circled to guard the border, she preceded the opponents because the wind whispered to him. He also told the matter to the general but the later could not explaine. She just then assumed that it was a skill she achieved as a soldier.
Aya raised her right hand so her companions prepared for any danger that awaited them. None of the soldiers wanted to speak and all their eyes were busy.
The forest they are traversing is quiet because even the birds seem to be hiding.
"What was about to happen?" Aya asked.
Suddenly, the missing birds flew in the opposite direction, so they stopped and bowed so that many birds would not run into their faces. Its a warning from the birds.
"Takti! Again! Why does the birds are stopping us?" Kalo asked with annoyance.
"Captain, you have to step back." Aya's left soldier, Makoy, said. He was only a little taller than her and had a good physique, his sword was large and long (single blade sword) hanging on a horse.
Aya quickly followed Makoy's gaze and immediately make the horse he was riding step back when she saw the trap of a thin rope blocking the road.
Aya got off the horse as well as her companions.
"This trap needs to be broken." Aya said.
"Can't we just pass by?" Kalo asked lazily.
"No, we can't and they might even say that we did this just in case." Aya replied as her eyes searched for the main end of the trap.
Aya noticed that that rope was tied to the rocks at the top just waiting to roll down to where they were.
"Its a mess." Aya just said and talked to her left soldier. "Makoy!" He calls him. "Just cut the rope that is tied to the rocks so that it will not fall when we break the trap here."
Makoy immediately obeyed his orders. Together with four other soldiers, they climb up.
The bodies of Makoy and his fellow soldiers were just right so they quickly climbed up and cut the rope on the rocks.
"Looks like there are new bandits around our area ah." Kalo assumed because of the trap they had already broken and Makoy had also come down.
"It was not robbers who did this." Aya said.
It could be seen in the faces of the soldiers the astonishment to what Aya said. "Who else? Wait, do you mean that these traps are really for us and not for the merchants passing here?" Kalo asked again.
Aya rode her horse to make sure everyone would listen to her.
"Listen everyone!" He started. "Our opponents are magicians. They are smart so we should be more prepared and observant
"Leader, how do you say our opponents are magicians?" Makoy asked in astonishment.
"We don't have enough time for a long explanation." Aya's only answer. "Someone may die with us this time so let's try not to get there but all I can be sure of is .... when the prince dies none of us will survive. Do you understand?"
"Understood!" The soldiers answered at the same time. Then they got on their horses and continued on their way.
Aya stopped traveling when they reached the top of the mountain. From there they could see the creek dividing the two kingdoms. In the plain you can also see some booths and soldiers guarding.
Also notice those soldiers the two colors of costume. Some are yellow and red which is the costume of the soldiers guarding the border of the other kingdom and the other soldiers are blue with a hood, they are the soldiers of their kingdom.
"Magicians." Aya heard Makoy say referring to the soldiers in blue.
"Magician? Wait, are they the ones you are referring to as our enemies? But like us they are also soldiers of our kingdom." Kalo, on the other hand, looked at Aya, Makoy and those on the plains
