The visit

Selene's visits to the projects he's working on aren't unusual. She is, in fact, very hands-on with her work, but this time it hits her differently. She really can't say much. Is it because it's a large project, or because of the person she'll be working with? She had gone to the site every day to double-check every detail so she wouldn't miss anything. It's the third week of the project, and Dominic appears to be present at every visit she makes. It's frustrating because she desperately wanted to hide from him, but she can't because she's the architect and needs to communicate with him.

Dominic never missed an opportunity to invite her to lunch after a site visit. She always tries to refuse, but she never succeeds. You really have been a messy eater since then. Dominic chuckles as he wipes the piece of food beside Selene's lips. She froze for a moment, but her heart continued to pound. This was their normal routine following a site visit.

Miss Jeon is beautiful, and she and Mr. Hong look good together. The workers adore pairing the two but are quiet about it because Selene is only concerned with her work. They are, however, closer to Dominic, about whom they tell all of their pairing fantasies.

Dominic returned today, and as he walked down the car, he noticed Selene talking with the worker about some changes to the project. He can't take his eyes off Selene, but it's not the same as it was back then, when Selene smiles and enjoys every word she says. She has a powerful but calm voice. He wished to see Selene speak with a smile once more. He walks slowly up to them to greet them and wish them a good morning. Everyone seems pleased to see Dominic, but Selene simply nods as she walks to her table, sipping her caramel machiato frappe.

While Dominic is speaking with the worker, Selene steals a glance at him. It's the same pounding heart she feels. It wasn't anything new to her; in fact, she shouldn't feel it again. She's falling again, falling the way Dominic smiles, their skin accidentally touching as he does things he's never done before. She knows she shouldn't, and she'll try to stop doing it for the rest of these days because they still have more than 5 months to see each other.

When Dominic sat beside her, she was chilling out, waiting to calm down before checking on some project improvements. You should try to smile at least once while talking to them. He said this while looking at Selene and the workers on the project. You are not required to say anything about it. Selene responded while still staring at the workers. Dominic longs to hold her soft hand, but knows he shouldn't because he respects Selene.

Lena, watch out!Dominic yells as she sprints away, pushing himself and Selene together as he notices a pavement collapse nearby. They were about to fall to the ground when Dominic's reflexes kicked in and he grabbed Selene's shirt as she closed her eyes. Dominic studied Selene's face, trying to remember every detail. Selene opened her eyes as she noticed Dominic's eyes on her. She was taken aback by the action and remained motionless. They were both looking at each other when a worker asked if they were okay.... Ah yeah I'm , I'm fine. As she escaped Dominic's arms, Selene said. She simply bowed and walked away.

Did he notice how fast my heart was beating? Selene kept asking herself questions about it. This is not acceptable. Every day, it expands. They say that if you hide and push yourself to stop feeling what you feel, you'll end up falling deeper. She wished she could cry. She wanted to cry because she told herself she was over this feeling. Is it normal for love to make you nervous? To make you feel you shouldn't? Dominic has always maintained his cool, approaching him even when not discussing the project.

It's almost lunchtime, and Selene is ready to go because she has a vet appointment after lunch. Dominic walks towards her after noticing her arranging her belongings and preparing to call it a day. Selene froze for a few seconds as she turned around facing him, ready to decline, but Dominc was quick to say that he wasn't taking no for an answer and grabbed her bag as he began walking to his car. She has no choice but to follow the guy because she knows he won't stop bothering her about lunch.

So where do you like to eat? Dominic questioned as he fastened his seat belt and started the engine. Can we please have a McDo? Selene inquired, her voice not loud enough to be heard by Dominic. Lena, you know how unhealthy McDo is. You shouldn't eat like that all the time. Dominic kept bugging her about it. I, I need to eat in my apartment since I need to bring my dog in vet after lunch so it is appreciated if we can just take ot a Mc Do. As she halved her head, Selene said. Dominic cast a glance at her. We eat in your place? Dominic's face lit up when he asked, causing Selene to look at him. Selene couldn't explain herself any longer, so she just agreed to whatever Dominc was thinking and drove to her apartment.

Dominic remains the gentleman he is. When they entered the apartment, they were greeted by a sheba ainu wiggling its tail, happy to see its owner. Hello, mini! Are you okay now, baby? Selene sat on the floor as the dog kissed her. Dominic was mesmerized by the sight until he realized the dog's name was familiar. Mini? Domiic inquired as Selene looked at him with dull eyes and diverted his attention to the dog she was petting. She simply nodded to clarify what Dominic heard. Mini was the name they considered giving to their future child before she vanished.

Dominic looked at the dog as it barked at him and ran towards him, attempting to jump for him to hug. It goes beyond the emotions he is experiencing right now. Before she tried to end what they had, she did something that reminded her of him. Dominic unexpectedly hugged Selene.

I'm sorry, I'm sorry my baby. Dominic continued to hug her.
