The Job

Architect Jeon will arrive sooner. Don’t be late guys. Heavy feelings covered the room as they heard the name Architect Jeon, one of the most well-known architect in the country, but the thing is, no one knows what she really looks like. Some say she is strict, some say she is cold, some say she is harsh, but who knows, because no one really knows about her except her team and this is the very first time that she will appear to the work that was given to her.

The name is like a song playing on loop inside the man’s head who is currently standing facing the table inside his office holding a paper containing the information of the Architect that said that was coming for today’s meeting. The very first time that he would meet a very well-known architect that no one had ever seen before.

Selene Jeon…. Why is the name so familiar? Why am I feeling this nervous? He has never felt nervous this much in his entire life from his other works and contracts he has been calm since it’s been years he became top Engineers in this company.

Kýrioi Builders is one of the infamous construction firms in the country. It said that this firm has been managed by Civil engineers since civil century and they only hire architects for the duration of time, such as how many months or years a project will be built, and this year another big project has been given to them, but now they need a greeter architecture firm for this one.

Jeju Water Resort World. The newest project needs not just 1 but 2 teams of professionals to work.

Dominic, calm down will you? We are also nervous about this team, but calm down okay. I never saw you looking so nervous like this. The last time is when you see some random girl that you don’t know and you’ve claim it’s the girl from your dreams. Caden, a co-engineer, said as he was sitting on the couch parallel to the table in Dominic’s office.

‘Why am I nervous? This meeting will be fine, I know. Caden is right. I’ve never felt so nervous like this before but today is different. The last time I did was when I saw that young lady who kept on appearing in my dreams.’ Dominic kept thinking about what Caden said to him.

It was a sunny day at the site as Caden called Dominic to check the client’s papers. As Dominic had already got the call he didn’t think twice about going to the nearby mall where the client wanted to meet with him. Caden welcomed him with a great smile, saying “Smile you bastard”, so he had no choice but to smile widely as the client said her greetings to her.

Okay, ma’am there, as you know, our company is only a bunch of engineers. You can get your prefer architects and other staff for this as our company is open for collaboration. Caden started to discuss with the client.

No worries, I have a trusted architecture firm out there. They are the best and they have the best architects too. Mrs. Lee, the client, replied joyfully to the idea of the project. This is a water park resort so they indeed need a lot of people to work with.

Okay Mrs. Lee, you don’t need to worry, my partner Dominic Hong is the one who will negotiate with the other company for you. Right Domi…… Caden didn’t continue what he was talking about as he saw the other man looking so nervous like seeing a ghost in the middle of the day. Dominic was looking at something or someone, as Caden looked in the direction where the other guy was looking. He got confused about why this man got so agitated. It was a side view of lady in her late 20’s smiling with somehow a guy who caden assumingly though that it is her boyfriend and the two are dating. So he is really confused about why Dominic would seem so nervous looking at the couple or mainly the lady.

Hey Dominic.. Caden shrugged Dominic to make him come back to his senses.

Ah what? Ah yes no worries Mrs. Lee guaranteed that both companies would work in unison and smoothly for your resort. Dominic replied so fast that it looked like he was in a hurry and kind of tensed up.

After minutes of discussion of agreement, they finally settled the meeting with the client and started walking up to the parking lot of the mall.

You look so nervous and tense awhile a go. What happened? Caden asked as both of them were heading to the parking lot.

I just saw someone and she is so familiar to me. Dominic, who was not quite yet in his senses, still answered while looking down.

Familiar? What’s with that you are so nervous just because of that? It’s not like you, you know. Caden said with a hint of a chuckle.

Remember my dream? It was the same situation a while ago. It feels like a Déjà vu. Dominic stopped in front of his car.

Oh, I see, but it’s so lame why you feel nervous about that simple dream. I mean it’s cool, but it’s odd, you know. Caden said before entering his car and starting the engine .

I’m going see you tomorrow in the company. Caden said, leaving the other man there.

Caden is right. Why would he feel so nervous in that situation? It may be a replay of his dream, but thus does it mean something? Thus that Déjà vu means something? Now it feels like another déjà vu will happen. Dominic feels so freaking nervous just like the other time he did, but now the lady is nowhere, so why feel so nervous about it? This is just a meeting with the other company. He will be fine for sure or will he?

Sir Le creatur Seoul is here now. Also, Architect Jeon is in the conference room with his partner. Dominic's secretary went on to say as Caden looked at him," Let's get this project done".
