Hannah was sitting at her desk, stuffing her face with a sandwich and egg, when she accidentally knocked over her drink. As she cleaned up the mess, her phone began to ring. It was Mike.
She ignored the call, but it rang again. And again. And again. Finally, irritated by the constant ringing, she picked it up.
“What do you want, Mike?” she snapped, not in the mood for pleasantries.
“Good morning,” Mike replied, surprised by her tone. A strange, uneasy feeling crept over him. Did she know something? Something she shouldn’t? His mind raced with worry.
