Chapter 3

Ethan's POV

As I went into the kitchen and I saw my eldest brother, Wes, is again lost in his sentiments. It has been happening since dad and mama went for a business trip and I don't even like their idea of leaving us entirely because it upset Anna most and I can't see her sad. I love my twins, but we are not identical twins.

She is more beautiful than me, but she is the most down-to-earth and polite person I ever saw.

I greeted everyone while giving a frowning expression to Ed to wake me up.

Once I got to sit next to Wes, who is my usual seat, I started making my favorite breakfast, French toast with scrambled eggs and with some pieces of bacon and a cup of coffee.

Suddenly, Wes's phone started ringing, which caused him to get away from his thoughts.

"Hey, Mom, " Was says while clicking on the green button on the phone as the caller ID flashed mom's number, then he put the phone on speaker so that we all can listen.

Mama asked, "How are you all my lovely and beautiful babies? I am missing you all"

Before Wes or anyone said a single word, we heard Anna's soft sobs after listening to mom's voice.

After listening to her sobs, mom said to her, "Please, my princess, don't cry. Mom and daddy are getting home next week". After, Anna stopped crying and started smiling while Ed was trying to quiet her down, saying sweet words in her ears, and Was got up from his chair and hugged her, comforted her back and comforted her, and me and Ed also joined that sibling hug with them.

"It is actually good news", Mary said while getting out of the kitchen towards us.

When mom heard her voice, she greeted her and asked if she was behaving properly and not disturbing her.

Mary responded with a smile on her lips that "You have amazing kids, they take care of each other and don't disturb me ever."

After that, Wes had a few words with mom and then he hung up the call and told us that we had to start going to school otherwise we would all be late.
