Chapter 8

Sophie's POV

When I entered the bedroom, Eric was lying on the bed with closed eyes and thinking about something.

I went to the other side of the bed and lay my head on Eric's chest.

We start talking and think about the past when Anna came into our life.

It's been 15 years since Anna was part of our lives and it looks like it happened just yesterday.

**Flash Back**

It was raining and I was crying because I had labor pain and our 3 children were about to come into the world.

Eric took me to the city hospital where we met Alpha and Luna, who are best friends also.

Alpha said that they had come here for some work and Luna also got labor pain. That's why he took her to the hospital.

I and Luna shared the same room to give birth to our babies.

We were both in pain but most worried about our husbands who were pacing outside of us and talking loudly because the doctor threw them out of the room as Alpha was about to snap on the nurse as Luna was crying in pain.

"I can't take it anymore, she is in pain. While the hell this doctor not doing anything to stop her shouting", said Alpha.

Eric was trying to calm him down while he was in the same position.

Then the time came and Luna gave birth to her son and, after a few seconds, I gave birth to Ethan.

We were both unconscious after giving birth and both babies were held by their fathers.

Suddenly, Luna got labor pain again and had a doctor rushed to her and then she gave birth to a beautiful daughter and we named her Annabelle.

It was a very lovely time and Luna was very happy to hold her daughter in her hands and kiss her forehead.

But this beautiful time fell very fast because we knew what was coming for Anna.

For many centuries, there was no female Alpha child, and when that baby girl came, then everyone around her needed to take care and keep her safe so that no harm came to her.

That baby girl is going to fulfill a prophesy. And Anna is that special prophetic child.

We all know the purpose of her birth and need to keep her safe. Being a warlock and witch protector, that was our job too.

It was not safe if people got to know that the Alpha girl had taken birth and we have doubts that the council might take her away and she was not able to live her life.

She would only become a toy protector.

While I took her in my arms and saw in her bright, silver-green colored eyes and such an innocent smile on her face, my heart melted like her mother that she should not live a horrible life, instead she should have a beautiful life.

These are Anna's parents and we have taken the decision to save her from all evil.

And in this, we all broke council and our world rules.

It really doesn't matter because we were all doing this for Anna, our angel girl.
