"What's this young man doing here?" I inquired of the security guards as I exited my car and approached them.
When they saw me, they all bent their heads in surprise.
"What's going on here?" I inquired once more.
" He claimed to be a member of the staff here, but he couldn't produce his ID card to verify he wasn't lying," one of the four guards present said.
"What do you want, young man?" I inquired, facing him.
I could tell he was in pain because he wrinkled his face, but he tried to mask it behind a killer smile that was already warming my heart.
It was love at first sight for the first time in my life, which I had never experienced before.
" I'm a staff member, I lost my ID card inside, and I'm extremely ill now, I need to get my drug inside," he whispered almost in hushed tones to me as I stood there debating whether or not to believe him.
He's too young to be a lecturer, and he doesn't have the appearance of a cleaner or a laborer.
The shirt he was wearing cost $80, which a low-income individual would not be able to afford.
I was mistaken about the bike being inexpensive; it cost more than my Range Rover automobile. " He doesn't appear to be lying, so one of you will follow us to confirm his story.
As I returned to my car, I said.
I was a little envious when the lady joined him on the bike.
I quickly began my automobile as I gave them a chase. He started the bike as he abruptly sped inside with the lady at his rear.
I was able to keep him in sight until he stopped his bike in front of one of the staff's buildings, thanks to my two years of dedicated learning to drive.
He hurriedly dismounted, ran to his door, yanked it open with a key, and dashed inside.
He emerged from the house a few minutes later, holding a white handkerchief to wipe his face.
He presented an ID to security, who carefully examined it, checking all of the writings on it, including the passport, before returning it to him and apologizing.
"Thank you, my name is Peter Wilson," he said as he drew closer to me and extended his hand for a handshake, smiling as I unrolled my car window.
" Linda and you're welcome," I answered, shaking his hand.
He walked away without saying anything else.
I was perplexed by his demeanor; I assumed he was flirting with me when he told me his name and requested a handshake, but his confusing behavior dashed my hope, or should I say wish.
I drove to Pauline's hostel with a sorrowful expression on my face and a strange smile on my face.
When I entered her apartment, I discovered her speaking with Helen, another of our friends.
She jumped on me, surprised and delighted to see me.
" Girls, guess what," I remarked after the usual compliments, " what's that?" they both inquired at the same time.
" I've finally seen someone who makes my heart skip a beat.
They both shrieked, "woooow!"
" Tell me, who's this lucky gentleman who can do what no one else has been able to do," Pauline exclaimed.

PETER'S POV:
"I believe she is on the verge of dying. "You're good, you're good, boy, able to complete two missions in one day, very excellent of you," I whispered to myself as I smiled in front of my room's dressing mirror.
"Now, the game is just getting started," I continued, dropping the white handkerchief from my grip.

" It's a surprise, I'm not ready to tell you yet," Linda said, amused by the girls' obvious interest.
Helen expressed her disapproval with Linda's behavior of placing them in the dark by saying, "ugh, why nay, Linda, it's not good."
"I had an interesting gist for you previously, but since you're not telling us about the person, I'm withholding my gist as well, so it's an equal score," Pauline joked.
Linda said in a babyish manner, more like a sardine fish's bone was lodged in her throat, "don't do that darling, okay, I promise to tell you about the person if you give me your gist first."
"I'm not sure if I should trust you," Pauline shrugged as the words left her mouth.
Linda added, crossing her palm on her chest, "I cross my heart," and they all burst out laughing.
"I also have a new crush who will soon become my boyfriend," she murmured, her face flushed and covered with her hands.
Helen quickly protested, "I hope you're not blushing because of my boyfriend."
"I'm not talking about your two rounds, Tony," Pauline said as she took her palm from her face, which had returned to its previous hue.
Helen slammed the door fiercely as she began boiling up. "Lecturer Peter is my new boyfriend, and you know that," she said angrily.
"What's going on here, girls?" Linda inquired, perplexed by whatever was going on between her two friends. "Peter is mine, and he's even shown that he loves me by standing up for me," Helen responded, raising her voice and making some hand gestures in the process. "Just because he saved you from Simon doesn't mean that he loves you," Pauline said, almost raising her voice.
The two appeared to be on the verge of picking a bone.
" Babes, please calm down and explain what's going on here to me, pull the covering off my eye, please," Linda said, attempting to assist the girls in reaching a decision.
Linda sat on the room's lone sofa like a judge, while the two females perched on movable cushions to describe their predicament.
Helen began, "I saw a guy today, I informed Pauline about him and my plans for him, fortunately for me, he's a lecturer and I'm one of his students, as is Pauline, but she didn't attend class today." " Do you mean the two of you are squabbling over a lecturer, whew, you both disappointed me," Helen recounted irritably," Linda added, looking down as if she was about to puke at any moment.
Linda asked irritably, "an old nerd, you're both fighting over, it's really gross, you know, pathetic, but when did you guys start tripping for the old guys?" The two girls who looked like they were about to land a punch on themselves a few seconds ago started laughing and mockingly clapping their hands.
"Are you people playing a joke on me?" Linda said, perplexed. "Babe, you have to see this guy, he's the hottest person I've ever seen, more of a foreign look than Stardom," Pauline added as she sat alongside Linda and placed her hand on her shoulder.
" He's the nicest boy I've ever met on this planet, and he's even better on his bike, which looked like it was designed just for him," Helen remarked as she sat behind Linda, her hand on her shoulder.
The two females appeared to be in another universe as they complemented Peter's appearance with the most refined adjectives they could come up with.
Linda was taken aback when she heard "you mean he's got a bike."
"He's also really young, I mean very tiny," Pauline added, exposing her thumb to demonstrate his diminutive size.
"Wow," Linda remarked, attempting to maintain a normal demeanor.
"What course is he lecturing?" Linda inquired, attempting to appear unconcerned.
"Foreign language, you should have been in his class; he's a great teacher, unlike that dumb dead fool who used to teach us." Helen responded to Linda, degrading the late teacher as though they both had a score to pay.
Helen abruptly exclaimed, "Pauline!"
"Yes," Pauline answered, her eyeball rolling in an odd manner.
Helen exclaimed, "Let's make this exciting!"
"How?" Pauline inquired.
"By making it a challenge, gaining his heart, let's see who gets it first," Helen smiled, clearly delighted with her plan.
The two girls had a lot of it when it came to beauty.
Their beauty is unmatched because they are both the same form, height, and complexion, with the exception that Pauline has an oval face while Helen has a round one.
But, while they were both stunning, there was Linda, the goddess of beauty, seated in their midst, their greatest hidden opponent in the game, since she wasn't about to let go of the first guy who made her heart skip a beat.
" Yeah, I love that, deal," Pauline remarked, laughing, as Linda gazed at them with a sad expression on her face.
"Now, who's the lucky guy?" Pauline said once Linda had recovered from her enthusiasm, but Linda simply shrugged it off, claiming to be hungry.
Pauline placed an order over the phone while they chatted about the past.
THE QUEEN IS IN THE GAME AS WELL. Linda was thinking of that to herself.
