It has been a month, nanny decided to teach me magic but she didn't started teaching me immediately but first filled me with basics of magic.

First thing was to condense mana at the mana core. All living beings who use magic have mana core and left behind their cores after death, but intelligent beings like humans, demi-humans and demons don't leave mana cores after their death, no one knows why?

Mages have a ranking system like monsters. They were classified by adventurers guild in to S to F class monsters. There are also SS and SSS class monsters but only in myths buy I doubt they really exist.

Now at magic again, nanny is a second-circle mage. It was normal rank for those with average talent and from humble background. She was graduated from a magic academy and she specialises in wind and fire magic. She told me she is very close to breakthrough.

I forgot to introduce her, her name is Adris Fraze, she is wife of a knight who is second son of a baron. She herself is eldest daughter of baron Saben Radni.

Now, on my progress, I'm a 0th circle half- mage, why half? because I don't know a single spell. Those spell structures are insane. According to Adris, in starting everyone struggles but once they learn basics, it become quite easy.

My elder brother Blake Arsen 7 years old, already have learnt 3 0th spells and 2 1st circle spells. This is what Adris told, don't know if she was lying to increase my competency. Because at which pace I'm advancing, I don't think I will be able to become a first circle mage even at 10.

According to her, mages can see the circle they need to overcome in order to ascend but my 1st circle is nowhere to be seen.

She is quite a good person. She is with me for the longest. She is better than most of the people I know. Now that I think, I only know Adris. The memories of infancy are vivid. But I clearly don't remember my parents. They also didn't bother to come either. What shitty parents?

Now I have started using meditating technique or mana condensing technique(MCT) Adris taught me. According to her, every famous institute and noble houses which excel in magic have their own refined meditation techniques. Meditation help increasing mana and increase mind power, so one not felt burdened after casting spell.

The technique, she taught me is used by third-class institutes. If one have slightly above average talent, then they can reach third circle by the age of 25 with this meditation technique but one need put lot of efforts.

This technique is only useful until one ascend to 1st circle. Then it became lacking.

Now it has been 3 months, I finally manage to learn my first spell, it's 'gust' spell which could be used to throw dirt in someone's eyes. It doesn't do any physical damage. What trash of a spell?

But 0th circle spells were not developed for fight, they were developed so that mages like me can become familiar with spell casting and the magic elements from young age. So, in future don't face problems while learning higher circle spells.

As for my mana amount, it had started to expand, difference can be noticed every 3 days. I'm so happy, my tears are flowing down continuously.

But there was something odd, that was difference between density of mana I condensed on my own and with Adris's technique. Former was denser than later.

Today, Adris was taking a sort of exam. First she asked me theory in which I intentionally stumbled on some questions to avoid suspicion.

Now, it was time to show my spell casting. I have been practicing quite hard for whole week. I close my eyes and enter cognitive world/subconscious space, I draw structure of 'gust' spell. I cast the spell in 2 seconds and green light emit from my right hand, then a gust of wind formed blowing away dirt and dry leaves.

Adris observe me for a while, then she continue the exam.

"Cast the spell again, young master"

I obliged. It seems like she was testing my stamina or something. I started feeling exhausted.

"That's enough for today young master, from tomorrow onwards we will be learning fire spell. Please rest well today."

I only nodded, I was too exhausted to talk. I sat down on nearby bench to catch my breath. After resting for a while, I headed for my room.

I have been learning a fire spell over a month now and making quite a progress, I have manage to learn one-third of it. If Adris was here, I might have half done already.

But, she is on leave because she is pregnant. I got shocked when I learnt it, she doesn't look more than a teenager to me. Maybe effects of mana or something. Fantasy world can't be understood with scientific logics first of all. So, I decided to not pursue this matter anymore.

But I doubt she will be coming any soon or might not even come back. To think, a child have to live in this house all alone.

I have been given a new maid, she is quite cold to me, don't know why? She just do her work and left as soon as possible. I tried to talk to her but she just ignore me.

This shows my standing in the house is not quite good. What a pain? At least there are not any assassination attempts yet.

Until now the treatment Adris was giving me, I took it for granted. But that maid made me realise my foolishness.

On her first day I almost got starved. I didn't tell her to bring food and she didn't bother to ask.

I told her my routine and immersed myself into learning magic. Magicians are hold in high esteem in the kingdom. Kingdom grant Fifth-circle mage baron title, Viscount for sixth and count for seventh, each with court rank.

But it would truly be a bother to manage a fief though instead being adventurer would be fun. It would be fun to explore this mysterious world instead of sitting on a chair.

I'm 5 years old now. I have learnt 2 0th circle spells long ago. I'm now engage in physical training. As a professional gamer I know what it means to have a lot of skills. One can overcome difference of levels or a rank with right usage of skills.

As usual I was meditating in my room in afternoon. The maid come to my room and entered without knocking. It was annoying, Adris also did this but other than this she is nothing like her.

"Butler wants to see you"

She said that and left. She didn't even bother to tell me where? But I already knew where? Other than my room and hall this lazy maid don't clean any other place.

I reluctantly went to hall. There butler was standing with Andris, I was happy to see her, she looked quite weak compare to before.

I stood before butler.

"Second young master, as you have turned 5, you will be taking sword classes. So, you need to come to training grounds from next month. We know you are incompetent but please try hard to not sully our master's blood"

What a bastard, if I haven't learn this new language, I wouldn't have known how much he was insulting me with that smiling face. After that he left and that maid too.

"Long time no see, young master"

"Yeah! so how are you now, you don't look well"

"I'm fine young master but first I would like to apologise"

"For what?"

"Young master, my husband has been promoted to be knight of a Marquise house. I will be going with him as well. So, I will no longer be able to serve you"

"I see"

That were the only words came out of my mouth after hearing this shocking news. I was waiting patiently for months for her arrival until now. But now she was leaving.

Well, it was me who was being selfish here, even if she was not going with her husband. She still needed to take care of her child. Considering how she took care of me, she certainly wants to shower her child with love.

Now, I need to harden my heart, it is not a good

thing to say good bye with saddened heart, especially when she and her family will be starting a new life.

"May the god bless you with happy life"

I wished her with a smile.

She was certainly expecting a sad parting considering her surprised face. Then she also put up a smile on her face.

"Your strong personality always surprise me young master and thank you for your blessing"

"Here take these young master, with these you will be able to continue learning magic"

She took out some books out of her bag.

"There are 1st circle wind and fire spells in this notebook and these are 0th circle spells of thunder, water and earth. You can learn one of these, if you want. But I suggest not to waste your time learning all of them. With this, I'm done"

"And may God bless you as well young master, good bye"

With that she left.

Well, what can be done now. I'm on my own now.
