"Okay," I say slowly. "What is it?"
"Money Annie, she left you money. You and your sister actually, you weren't supposed to be able to access it until you turned twenty-five, it's the same stipulations for your sister. But as the executor of the estate, I can authorize you to withdraw the funds early. Honey I never had any intention of disregarding your grandmother's wishes, but I know she would want you to have this now. She would want you to have the means to do whatever you needed to do to get through everything you have had to deal with. I looked into it a great deal after you saw me a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure if I would be able to allow you to withdraw the money before you were twenty-five but I spoke with our lawyers and I can give you the funds."
