  Ronan   I should've let her fall. That's the first thing that hit me when I saw her stumble out of the arena, pale and shaking. I could've stayed back. Let the medics handle it. Let her figure it out alone, like she always tries to do.   But I didn't. I couldn't do that, still stuck with why I saved her. My body moved before my brain could tell it no.   She barely made it to the courtyard before her knees gave out. One second she was walking, next she was crumpling. I caught her just before she hit the stone. Her skin was burning hot, like a magic still simmering under the surface.   She looked at me like she couldn't believe I was there. Like maybe I wasn't real.
