  Zara's POV   The last thing I remembered was the sound of stone giving way under my feet. Then, nothing but air after. I didn't scream. I couldn't make any noise, because my breath had already left me.   I hit the ground hard enough to feel it in my teeth. My knees buckled. My shoulder slammed into something sharp. I rolled, coughing, blinking through the dust. Everything was dark and extremely cold.   Above me, the circle of the arena floor had vanished, buried behind rock and dirt. Silence closed in fast, no cheers, no voices, not even the rustle of wind. Just the sound of my heartbeat and the distant dripping of water.   I pushed myself up. My head throbbed.
