  Kyenna's POV   I knew the minute I stepped into the chamber that this wasn't going to be a civil meeting.   The air was too still, too controlled. The council chamber which was usually humming with academic bickering and philosophical debate was suffocatingly quiet. Tension hung like smoke, and every gaze that turned toward me carried the same unspoken question: Whose side are you on, Kyenna?   I didn't answer them. I didn't need to.
