Chapter Seven Oh Dear Me What Have I Done “Stand up, girl, and face me,” he instructed, I stood but did not want to face him because I was afraid of what I might have seen. I had annoyed him, that much I already knew, but how much I was not certain and it was that uncertainty that filled me with dread as I finally complied and turned to face him.
