**Luca’s POV**
I got home right after slipping the copied page into Sophia’s locker. The driver didn’t ask questions, and I went straight upstairs, closing my door behind me. The conversation with Sophia in the park kept replaying in my head. The way she had listened. The way she had reached for my arm like she still believed in me. The hope in her eyes even when I gave her so little.
I changed out of my school uniform and tried to act normal when Mum called me down for dinner. Priya chattered about her day. Mum asked about school. Dad watched me the whole time without saying much. I answered on autopilot, smiling when I was supposed to. Inside, the guilt sat heavy.
After dinner I went back to my room. I locked the door and sat on the edge of my bed. The old storage box was still hidden
