Chapter 6: Shopping date

As Ava left Ethan was thinking why did she want to bring her friend, didn't she trust him or what? Or she doesn't like him? He had so many questions going on in his head, he was frustrated. He called Victor and told him to come to his office urgently. As it was evening Victor's work was also finished, so he came to Ethan's office. Upon entering Ethan's office, Victor smiles and asks "did you miss me buddy?" You called with so much urgency. Ethan laughed and said "You wish, no i didn't miss you, I had something important to tell you." Victor could sense the seriousness in his tone so he sat down and asked "buddy what's the problem?" Ethan said "Uh... There's a new girl in the office Ava, PR manager she is kinda beautiful and hot, she is handling the upcoming Gala right now. And I might have asked her to be my date. And at first she thought of it as a joke, today I told her it's not and also I might have told her I'm taking her shopping today." Victor was listening carefully, and once he finished talking Victor started laughing and said "Buddy you have screwed up, and also I want to meet this girl who made The Mr. Ethan asked her to be his date. Is she a witch or how did she manage to do this?" Ethan took a deep breath and said "i***t friend of mine no she is not a witch and you will meet her today, I mean now in the mall while doing shopping." Victor was confused "Why will I meet her now, how can I if you are taking her shopping?" Then he realised "Wait am I coming to the shopping? Oh god no you know how much I hate that and also why would you think I want to be the third wheel?" Ethan said " Yes you are coming even if you hate to do shopping and also no you will not be third wheel because it's not a date. And one more thing Ava is bringing her friend that's why I'm asking you i***t to tag along with me." Listening to this Victor said "Oh my god, this famous Ava doesn't trust Mr. Ethan so she is bringing her friend for protection. While asking for a date did you scare her or what?" Ethan remembered and said "No, not when I was asking her to be my date, it might be today when I told her I'm taking her on shopping, she was going to refuse it, so I told her it's not an option, she got angry I guess she stood and told she is bringing her friend and left office. And also I think this girl has things to leave things abruptly, she left my office even when I asked her to be my date and again today I hate that thing about her a lot." Victor laughed at Ethan's last statement, he said "Buddy first thing you are wrong at is you never tell a woman what to do and second The great Ethan left someone who disrespected him to still work at his company it's a new thing. Maybe love makes everyone soft." Ethan got angry but didn't reply to him, instead he got up and started to walk and called him to come as they have an appointment at a boutique and they had to pick Ava and her friend.

In the car Victor asked "At least tell who this girl your date is bringing, what's her name, spare me some details." Ethan sighed and said I don't know anything about Victor now shut up and sit. As they reached Ava's apartment, they both thought why she lived in such a bad area, but both didn't say anything. Ethan called Ava. Ava received his call and asked Ethan where she should meet him, to that Ethan replied down your apartment, Ava was shocked listening to her boss is downstairs, she asked him "Why are you here I could have come on my own and also how do you know my address." Ethan told her in a serious tone "Look Ava we are already late so come down we will leave now." Ava was angry but didn't argue she told Emily her boss is here they need to go. Emily was excited and said "So Mr. Boss is here to pick us up, What great news?" They both went down and saw Ethan and his friend in front of Black Audi, Ava went and greeted Ethan and Victor. And Ava asked Ethan again "how does he know her address?" Ethan shrugged and said he has ways. Victor held his hand to Ava, Ava shook it as Victor introduced himself. And asked Ava "Hi Ava you might not know me, I'm Victor, Ethan's best friend. And introduce me to your beautiful friend here" he said as he winked to Emily. Emily blushed and introduced herself. As they got inside the car now I know buddy why you asked her out she is pretty, they both smiled. They all got in the car and went to the boutique.

As they reached the boutique, Ethan gave his car key to the valet. Emily said "Oh my god Ava, we are not shopping at the mall it's a boutique which will be much more costly." Ava was scared and said "Emily how will we be able to buy these, if we buy here we can't manage other financial requirements." So she went to Ethan and said "Sir I can't buy from here, I will not be able to pay, better we go back and I will buy a dress from some mall." Ethan was about to reply Victor laughed and said "You girls just see dress and select, your boss here is a millionaire he will pay for both of your dresses." Ava was about to refuse Ethan said "Ava as I said before it's not an option, so come inside we will get dresses for you."

Inside the boutique, after seeing Ethan the manager came and asked Ethan "how can I help you sir?" Ethan said show these girls nice dresses for Gala. Two girls came and took Ava and Emily. Ethan and Victor sat outside the trial room. Ava and Emily went inside and saw many beautiful dresses, workers started to show dresses to each of them. One girl showed black long body hugging gown with a slit and sweetheart neckline Ava liked it and Emily said "Ava it will look good on you." So Ava tried it when she came out, Emily said "Girl you looking hot in this dress." And Ethan was staring at her continuously which made Ava blush. Victor said "Ava you are looking pretty and buddy you are staring at her" he says and laughs. Ava and Emily say ok if we are finished we will leave now. Victor said "Don't be selfish Ava, you took a dress your friend here didn't finalize yet." Emily replied "uhh..... Why do I need one I'm not even attending the event." Victor went near her and said "Who said that babygirl, you need a dress because you are coming to the event with me." Emily was stunned to hear it but she replied boldly "Oh I didn't remember you sir asking me to be your date." Victor smiled "Darling I like how strong you are and Ms Emily will you be my date?" Emily smiled and said " Yes" Victor then said "Ok now at least you now need a dress, go try a few" Emily smiled and went inside with Ava. As they went inside Emily squealed and thanked Ava for bringing her and Ava was happy for her. Emily started seeing her dresses, she liked a red long body hugging dress with deep V neckline and deep slit. She wore it and came out Ava saw her and hugged her and Emily you are looking beautiful. And when Victor saw her he stood and went near her and whispered in her ear "Darling you are looking hot, sexy if I get a chance I will tear it show you how beautiful you look" listening to his Emily blushed, she went inside and changed into her dress and came out.

Ethan went to pay for both dresses, Victor said "Buddy you pay for your girl's dress and I will pay for mine" and winked at Ava. Listening to him both the girls blushed.

They got inside the car, Victor asked if we should all go for dinner. Ethan said he was ok, Ava was about to refuse, Emily beat her to it and said " Yes." So they went to a fancy restaurant and sat at a private table. When the waiter came Victor ordered 4 glasses of wine, Emily said "Victor no Ava doesn't drink you can order her a coke." He ordered, as the waiter left Victor asked "Oh Ava you don't only look innocent, you actually are an innocent girl. If you don't even drink wine then I don't think you have a boyfriend?" Ava just nodded her head but Emily said "Nope she never had one in college she was always studying, now all she does is work" Ava hit Emily slightly and told her to shut up. Both Emily and Victor were laughing, but Ethan was just looking at Ava. Once drinks came Victor ordered the main course, and both Victor Emily were talking, Ethan was talking in between but was mostly looking at Ava, but Ava was just looking around and was listening to them talk. After dinner they left. Outside the restaurant Ava said they will go on their own but both guys refused, so all of them were in the car going to Ava's apartment. Once they reached all of them got down, Ava said bye, Emily was saying bye to Victor, he asked her for her contact number, she gave and they both said bye once again and guys left.

Inside the apartment Emily was screaming how happy she is, she got a dream dress, date and how handsome he was, Ava laughed and said "Girl control yourself, you are screaming it's late we don't want someone calling cops on us." To that Emily said with laughter it's not a problem if that happens they can meet Victor again. Ava hit her and they both went fresh up.

On this side Victor was also happy "Buddy for the first time because of you I'm getting a date" Ethan glared at him Victor raised his hands and said anyway thanks buddy. Ethan dropped Victor and on the way he was thinking how beautiful Ava was looking in that black dress, it was hugging her curves perfectly and she was looking so pretty. He was continuously thinking about her on the way home.
