Chapter 12

In the morning when Ava woke up, she could feel she was on something hard yet soft. She opened her eyes and saw herself almost sleeping on Ethan and he had his hand around her. She blushed seeing their position and tried to move but couldn't due Ethan's firm grip. She didn't have any other choice but to lay over there, and when she saw how peacefully he was sleeping she couldn't help but admire him, she was staring at his face, Ethan cleared his voice, and said with a hint of smile "Are you done staring at me can I open my eyes now?" Ava was startled hearing his voice she tried to get up he pulled her, and she landed on his chest. Ava blushed and said "Ethan leave me, I have to freshen up and go home, Emily will be waiting for me." Ethan replied to her "Ava I had the best sleep yesterday, stay for another 10 minutes and Emily is with Victor don't worry." Ava nods at him and then asks "What Emily is with Victor, that girl never listens recently she was heartbroken and was not leaving her room, after trying so many things she recovered and now she is with other man already, and Ethan if Victor breaks her heart again I don't know how I'm gonna fix her this time." Ethan smiles and says "Ava don't worry, I have never seen Victor like this before I guess he likes your friend." Ava nods. They stay there for more time later Ava gets up and goes to fresh up and tells Ethan to get fresh up. While he was in the shower, Ava went down to the kitchen and was seeing his kitchen and she saw some ingredients to cook breakfast. She started preparing pancakes, eggs, some cookies and coffee. While she was cooking she had music on her phone, and she enjoyed the music while dancing. When Ethan came down, he saw Ava dancing and singing he was amazed to see her, so he stood near the dining table watching her. While cooking and dancing she turned to get something, but stood there with a blush on her face, she looked down and asked Ethan "When did you come down, I didn't notice you." To that Ethan said "Oh I came down to see someone enjoying their own company lot, so I didn't want to disturb so I stood here watching you." She blushed and turned away and continued making pancakes while still blushing. Ethan came near her and asked if she needed any help. She said "Tell me where's coffee powder" Ethan came behind her and raised his hand above her, opened the cupboard above her head, took out coffee and gave it to her. Ava moved sideways, took coffee from his hand and went to prepare coffee, and told him to sit at the table while she prepared breakfast. After preparing everything, she was bringing the food to the table, Ethan told her he would help her so she made him bring eggs and coffee. While behind him she took pancakes and cookies. At the table Ethan saw pancakes and cookies, he was happy to see that and told her I thought you only made pancakes, eggs and coffee, you also baked cookies wow you do work faster. Ava blushes and says "Cookies don't take much work and also last time you said you wanted to try something I baked, so I prepared it." "So you remembered what I said" Ethan said raising his eyebrows. Ava laughs and says "Yes, I should be right as you are my boss I should remember everything you said." Ethan laughs with her.

After breakfast, Ava tells him she has to go home, Ethan tells her to wait for a few minutes as he is expecting someone.Ava tells Ethan "Hey, I can go on my own you don't have trouble yourself, you meet whoever is coming" saying that she tried to go up. While Ethan pulled her and made her sit on the couch and tell her "Ava I will drop you to your home, don't worry it's not a trouble for me, and also the one coming is not important what he is bringing is important he will be here in 10 minutes, so just wait." They both sit in the TV hall, and start to watch a movie. While they hear the bell, Ethan gets up and goes to the door, there was someone outside, he gives Ethan a box and says thank you sir and then leaves. Ava curiously asks who was there, Ethan tells her that he was the delivery boy from the boutique, and goes to her and gives the box to her. Ava was confused about why he gave that box to her and what was in that, so she asked him what was this. Ethan tells her "It's a dress for you, hope you like it. You don't have anything to wear right now to go home that's why I ordered the dress." Ava blushes and tells him "Ethan I could have worn the same dress from yesterday, why did you waste money." Ethan tells her she can't wear a dress from yesterday as it was heavy and it's ok, go and change now. Ava goes to his room on the first floor and changes her dress, and packs the dress she wore for yesterday's event. While she was packing Ethan knocks on the door, she opens door for him, he sees her packing his shirts which she wore at night and morning he sees that, Ava also looks where he is looking and she gets to know, so she tells she will wash those and then give it back to him. But Ethan tells her "it's ok Ava, the maid will come in the evening she will wash those and you can leave them here only." As Ava didn't have a choice she left those shirts in bed. Ethan also gets ready. And Ethan takes her to his car and drives her to her home. In the car they were both silent. When they came near her apartment Ava told him "Ethan I had a nice time with you since yesterday thank you for everything." Ethan smiles and says "It's good you had a nice time, and I also had the best time, and also why are you talking like we will never meet again or something." Ava takes a breath and tells him "We will meet but from tomorrow onwards you will be my boss again and we can't talk like this, so I thought of telling you that's it." Ethan replies to her "Even if I am your boss we can talk don't worry." Ava wanted to tell something but leaves it as he won't listen, so she tells him, while looking at him, that she will leave now. Ethan takes a breath, pulls Ava and kisses her on her forehead and says you can go now, Ava blushes and gets down the car and tells him bye and runs to her home with a big smile on her face. As Ava goes inside her apartment, Ethan also leaves with a smile on his face.
