Chapter 10: Night out

While coming out Ethan called one of his drivers and told him to bring his car. Once Ethan and Ava were out, they saw a red ferrari waiting for them, he took her to the car, The driver was waiting outside the car, Ethan told the driver he would drive himself and the driver could go to the home and gave the driver money for the cab, driver took the money and gave the key to Ethan. Ethan went around and opened the passenger side door for Ava, Ava smiled at Ethan and got inside the car. Ethan also sat and started driving both were clueless about where they were going. They both were sitting silently at one point Ava started to hate the silence, it was not uncomfortable silence, but silence irritated her for the first time, as she was introvert she used to love silence but today it was different she couldn't take it,so she asked Ethan, if she could turn on the radio, Ethan nodded, Ava turned on the radio Taylor Swift's song started playing. Ava started humming along with the song, she was unaware that Ethan was listening to her, Ethan was staring at her, she noticed that, she blushed and stopped singing. Ethan said "oh I didn't know you could sing, please continue you have a nice voice." Ava blushed and said "no sir, and I'm not good at singing, it's just that Taylor swift is my favourite singer, it's a habit whenever I hear her song involuntarily I start to sing." Ethan replied "Hey seriously you have a beautiful voice and also don't call me sir or Mr. Ethan or the boss when we are alone, you can call me Ethan." Ava nodded and said " Yes sir... Umm... Sorry I mean yes Ethan" she blushed. Ethan laughed and Ava joined him. They were on an empty bridge, Ava asked if he could stop the car, Ethan saw the road, as there were no vehicles, he parked on a sideway. They both got down, Ava went near the edge of the bridge, holding the railings of the bridge she looked up at the sky, Ethan stood beside her leaning on the railings. Ava says looking up at the sky isn't the moon beautiful, Ethan looks up and then at Ava and says yes it is. They stand there with silence and with a smile on both of their faces. Ava curiously turns towards Ethan and asks him "Sir umm I mean Ethan everyone including paparazzi portrays Mr. Henry as a stern, self centred man, but today as I saw, he was different, when he asked me for dance I was scared, I thought he asked me, to threaten me, but it was a whole different scenario." Ethan laughed and said "Ava my father is actually not like that, at least to me, and he was like that when it came to his business and I think that's why everyone respects him and because of him only our company was good. And also he has never liked my girlfriend or any of my dates, but you did do magic on him, he invited you to his home which is a big step for him." Ava said "I don't know what made him like me, I'm just a simple girl." Ethan tells her " May be that only made him like you I guess, most of the girls I dated were all after my money, you on the other hand, when I took you to shopping or to a restaurant you wanted to pay yourself, he also may have saw that you are different that's why he liked you I guess." Ava blushed and just stood quietly. Ava's dress was heavy, Ethan saw her discomfort and told her to sit on the car bonnet enjoying the view of the sky and the cold breeze. Ava smiled and went to sit, she forgot she had a long dress she was about to slip when she tried to sit on car, Ethan held her by her waist and made her sit on car, and as there was long slit along her leg in her dress her one leg was exposed when she sat, Ethan was staring at her leg , Ava saw that and cleared her throat and covered her leg with dress. It was getting cold Ava's dress was sleeveless which made her shiver, seeing that Ethan took his coat and put it on her shoulder. Ava blushed and looked at him, all she could see was his well built biceps. She was staring at him without knowing, Ethan asks "Like what you see girl" Ava blushes and looks down and says thank you for the coat and hugs his coat. Ethan laughs and says "Hey I was just kidding don't think much" as it was getting late, it was getting even more chillier, so Ethan tells her Ava we should get going it's getting cold and he makes her get down. They get in the car, Ethan tells Ava "It's late Ava, will you stay at my place, and also however tomorrow is a holiday you can go home once you get up." Ava says "Ethan I don't think it's a great idea can you drop me home" Ethan tells her "Ava it's late, you can stay in a different room, my house has many guest rooms." Ava couldn't argue more, so finally she says ok.

They both go to Ethan's home. Looking at Ethan's house Ava was in shock and she said "Oh my god, your house is so big and it's beautiful." Ethan smiles and takes her to his room and tells her to freshen up. Ava hesitates and stands there only, looking at her he asked what happened to which Ava replied "ummm.... Ethan I don't have anything to wear." At that time he realised he also didn't have girls clothes at his house so he tells her to go inside his closet and choose anything to wear, he said that and went outside. Ava went and saw his closet, and was shocked to see how expensive his closet was. And she couldn't get anything to wear on her size, so she just chose the white shirt and held it to her body the shirt almost covered her till thighs so she took that and went to freshen up. Then she got fresh up and changed her dress, she came out. Ethan was sitting on his bed and was doing some work in his laptop, Ava saw him and told him to freshen up, while saying yes he looked up at Ava, he saw her wearing his white shirt only, his shirt covered her till mid of her thighs and she rolled the sleeves till elbow, he got up went directly to bathroom. Ava was confused about what happened, thinking that she sat on the couch in front of the bed and started texting Emily. Inside the bathroom Ethan was thinking how hot Ava was looking in his shirt, and all he wanted was to rip that shirt off her body, he couldn't control himself so he went inside the bathroom. Ethan got fresh up and came outside with shorts only and a towel in his hand. Ava saw him and froze, she just looked down with a blush on her face. Ethan put on a t-shirt seeing Ava uncomfortable. And Ethan told her to sleep in his room as he was going to sleep in another room. But Ava was scared to sleep alone in that big room so she said to him "Ethan you sleep here only on the bed I'll sleep on the couch I don't want to sleep alone in this big room, and I will sleep on the couch here." Ethan said "okay I will sleep here only on one condition that you have sleep on the bed and I will sleep on the couch." Ava was about to refuse Ethan said "Ava it's not an option go sleep in bed" Ava nodded and went to sleep. While sleeping on couch Ethan was thinking what's happening to me I have never allowed any girl inside bedroom even when I was relationship how come I brought Ava directly to my room, and also why am I sleeping on the couch, this is not me, he was having all kinds of thoughts and he was trying to sleep. At night Ava had a nightmare and she was whimpering, Ethan heard her soft cry and got up and went to bed and held Ava's hand and was telling her it's alright don't worry, then Ava got up and Ethan made her drink water and told her to sleep, she asked Ethan if he can sleep next to her in bed as she wants to hold his hand while sleeping. Ethan hesitated at first, and then said yes. While Ava was asleep Ethan was thinking about her nightmare, and why was she telling no don't do it and was crying for help. But Ethan was distracted when Ava hugged him in her sleep. Ethan was surprised at first later he also hugged her and went to sleep.
