“Can you believe they’re finally letting you come home, Hope!”
I squealed excitedly at my twin sister. I and my dad were at the hospital to pick her up after her last treatment had turned out a major success.
I was beyond excited for my sister. Hope got cancer a year ago, leukemia, and ever since then life had been a rollercoaster with more downs than ups. Which was the reason I was so excited right now, the doctor had told us that the best thing we could do for Hope was to keep our spirits up and celebrate every small victory. This leads us to the present with me jumping around the dull hospital room.
I still remember when Hope got her diagnosis. Ever since that day she had never been the same. She shut everybody out, including me. I was heartbroken,
