LIBERTY'S P.O.V I woke up, looking at my alarm clock. It showed seven am, which I was happy about as it meant my mom wasn’t awake yet. I thought about all the horrible things she said to me yesterday and tears started welling in my eyes. Suddenly I knew what I had to do. I hurried over to my computer and started my search for the fastest way to get out of here. There was a train leaving at the airport in one hour and then a two-hour wait until the plane would leave for Texas. I was planning to stay in Alaska until new years eve, but now I couldn’t bear the thought of staying here one more minute. So I hurriedly packed my stuff and got ready.
