When Mandy's class ended, Ryan was standing at the door to the classroom, waiting for her. Even though Ashley had promised to stop, he didn't want to leave her alone, at least for now. He needed to rebuild his girlfriend's confidence in herself so that she could get over everything she went through.
The young woman crossed the door and smiled as she stopped in front of him. Ryan wrapped his waist and pulled her into a soft kiss. They walked silently out of the building. He would only have class later and that was the only one she would have today. They went to the café nearby, and while Ryan was buying drinks, Mandy went to sit at a table in the corner.
