On the rooftop of Building 5, Kibin and Kentaro enjoyed a quiet moment together. Kibin rested his head on Kentaro’s chest, their hands intertwined as they talked happily. The breeze gently rustled their hair, and the distant sounds of the campus below created a soothing backdrop. The sun cast a warm golden glow, making the moment feel timeless and perfect. Suddenly, they heard footsteps climbing up to the rooftop, and they quickly separated. Just before Kibin could fully pull away, he heard a familiar voice.
"What’s this? Flirting this early in the morning? And on the rooftop, no less! Show some respect!" joked Kazuki, laughing as he approached with Yuto.
"We weren’t doing anything! You guys are always making things up," Kibin replied, trying to sound innocent as he straightened his shirt and combed his fingers through his hair.
"Not doing anything? We clearly saw you two hugging," Yuto said, laughing as well.
Kazuki and Yuto sat down next to Kibin and Kentaro, offering fist bumps. The rooftop was now a small gathering of friends under the open sky, the cityscape stretching out below them.
"Life is funny, huh? From constant bickering to warm embraces," Kazuki said with a grin, shaking his head at the irony.
"We know the truth, Kibin. It’s obvious you two like each other, even if you don’t admit it," Kazuki added, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I knew this would happen, especially after seeing them kiss in the restroom on election day," he revealed, smirking.
"That was an accident. Don’t make up stories," Kibin protested, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment, while Kentaro just smiled, enjoying Kibin’s flustered reaction.
"I remember when we were drinking at the flower shop. I was coming back from home, and when I was about to enter the second floor, I saw you two kissing," Yuto said, laughing heartily. Kazuki nodded in agreement. "I remember that. I woke up needing to pee but saw you two kissing, so I went back to sleep," Kazuki added, chuckling.
"You guys are liars! You said you didn’t remember anything. Kentaro, do you remember that?" Kibin asked, looking at Kentaro with wide eyes.
Kentaro smiled, walked up to Kibin, and kissed his forehead gently. "Of course I remember. How could I forget?" Kentaro said, laughing softly.
"So you all ganged up on me, pretending not to remember," Kibin complained, crossing his arms in mock annoyance.
"Remember when we were studying at the flower shop? Kibin fell asleep first. When Kentaro came in to sleep, I followed. Since Kibin wasn’t sleeping comfortably, he adjusted him and even tucked him in, and then they ended up face to face, and Kentaro kissed Kibin," Kazuki said, grinning.
Hearing his friends talk, Kibin’s face turned red with embarrassment. He felt his cheeks burning from their teasing, but he couldn’t hide his smile.
Yuto chimed in, "When Kibin got sick, I visited him around 10 PM to check on him. I saw Kentaro asleep, and Kibin kissed him."
Kentaro looked at Kibin, his eyes sparkling with affection. "So, after taking care of you because you were sick, you stole a kiss?" he teased.
Kibin stood up from his seat, exclaiming, "I can’t believe you guys! You just make up stuff." Despite his denial, he couldn’t help but laugh along with them.
"And we also know you two were together on Valentine’s Day. Kentaro asked us if he should take you on a date, and we suggested a resort far away so you couldn’t escape from him," Kazuki said, causing them all to burst into laughter.
"But honestly, we’re happy for you both. You’ve found love," Yuto said sincerely, his tone warm and genuine.
"And no matter what happens, we’ll always be best friends," Kazuki added, clapping a hand on Kibin’s shoulder.
Under the clear blue sky, surrounded by friends, Kibin felt a sense of contentment and belonging. The love and support from his friends, and the special connection with Kentaro, made this moment perfect. They all laughed and talked, the rooftop becoming a place of joy and camaraderie, where bonds were strengthened and memories were made.
Since they had no afternoon classes, Kentaro invited Kibin on a date. Kibin happily agreed. They went to the mall, where they picked out matching jackets and hats. They watched a movie and enjoyed ice cream together, sharing laughs and playful moments. These simple activities were incredibly special and meaningful to both of them, solidifying their bond.
By the time they headed home, it was already night. When they arrived at the bus stop in front of Okinawa University, they started walking down a quiet path. The stars glittered above them, and the night air was cool, but their hearts were warm and filled with excitement. They had been planning this evening for a long time, and now they were finally here, together, in a moment that seemed endless. As they walked, they talked about simple things—dreams, plans, and memories.
But beneath their words, there were unspoken feelings, a sense of anticipation waiting for the right moment. The unspoken connection between them grew stronger with every step.
Suddenly, Kentaro stopped and looked into Kibin's eyes. Kibin stopped too, his heart pounding in his chest.
Kentaro didn't say anything. Instead, he slowly moved closer to Kibin, their faces gradually drawing near. Their eyes locked, and in that moment, it felt as if time had stopped. The world around them blurred, and all they could hear was the beating of their hearts.
When their lips met, there was an instant feeling of joy and satisfaction. The kiss was electrifying, as if waves of emotion were passing through their bodies. Each moment seemed to slow down, and the world around them vanished, leaving only the two of them.
As their lips touched, Kibin felt the warmth and tenderness of Kentaro's kiss. Every movement of their lips was filled with emotion and intention, an exchange of feelings that words could not express.
When their lips finally parted, they looked into each other's eyes, full of love and understanding. "Kentaro, I love you," Kibin said, his voice heavy with emotion.
Kentaro smiled, his eyes sparkling under the stars. "I love you too, Kibin," he replied, his voice filled with happiness and love.
That night, under the stars, they found each other. Their kiss marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, a chapter filled with love, joy, and endless dreams.
