Epilogue Heidi leaned against her exam table, more exhausted than she could ever remember being in her life. The physical tiredness didn’t surprise her, because Ryan kept them both up all night, but it wasn’t their strenuous mating that wore her out. It was the number of people who’d visited the Healing Center to see the brand Ryan Calder had put on her. Brandi had told her that she’d felt like one of Gareth’s cows every time she saw the mark.
