The school was very much enjoyable as far as Skai could even imagine everyone minded there own business even with the amount of gangs and punishments Skai couldn't care less what trouble she got into except today was her first therapy session which happened every Wednesday. And there she was a beautiful African with a beautiful afro and golden brown eyes by the name of Mrs Sahira. She stared at Skai for few a seconds which Skai found very uncomfortable to the point of her cracking her knuckles. "So Skai why are you here"said Mrs Sahira while writing in her note book. "Excuse me "said Skai. "Well am assuming that you don't like being here". "Seems that's obvious". "Okay let's get started you seem to have had a bad reputation for your temper but that all changed when you were in a accident that didn't affect you physically but you started having mental issues is that right?" "Well now that almost every person's information can be looked up on the internet yes part of that is true". "Okay" said Sahira before pulling out one of the wardrobes and pulling out a cup with three red pills inside it then pouring water from the vase into another glass cup. "Am taking those pills again"said Skai a little bit with a threat in her tone. "Skai these things are good for you". "Those things are s**t they trick me into believing that am normal when really am sick and then when "they" say am okay I go back to acting like am not normal and I don't want that anymore". "But at least think of your father in this he has put a lot of money for you in all of this". "I didn't ask him". "He just wants the best for you simply take the pills and we'll get ourselves started with the therapy classes and you'll be back to normal within a month's notice". "Like I said I'm not taking those pills". "Skai......" "I'll pass by next week Wednesday bye"said Skai before picking up her bag and walking out the therapy room. As she walked through the corridor Skai's mind started playing games on her again right at the end of the hallway there was a gate made of gold exposing a garden filled with beautiful rose bushes mesmerising it was you would walk right into it and it would take you to a world of wonder. And then suddenly a small whisper the kind of whisper that puts you to sleep whispered in Skai's ear simply saying run into your peaceful place where no one will care what you are and Skai couldn't help but listen once more run Skai run then Skai run, run as fast as she could hoping to be in a oasis but instead slammed her face hard into the wall, fracturing her nose bad and landing hard on the back of her head. For a moment every went black and her head started ringing and then everything went back to normal with her opening her eyes to see a very handsome young face that had emerald green eyes looking at her. "Are you okay " asked the handsome man but before Skai could answer she blacked out. A bright light from the sun that shined through the window stung Skai's eyes has she started regaining self control she realised by the posters on the wall she was in the school clinic with an excruciating nose of pain. "Great you woke up "said a nurse who was light skinned with crazy curly hair and blue eyes. "You might be the first girl to end up here with a broken nose". "What ?I broke my nose?"said Skai more confused than usual. "The students tell me you allegedly ran yourself into a wall for no apparent reason"said the nurse sitting next to Skai "That's a lie .... for a split second I could swear I was running into an open garden and then the wall popped up and my face got rammed into". "Okay well I have no choice but to believe you ". "Why?". "According to your profile you have a history of seeing things that are not there so which means you have mental issues ". "And so what if I have mental issues". "Meaning I have to put you on a prescription for your health". "I don't need those pills ". "Well I need you to take those pills to make sure you don't get into such accidents like this okay ". "Am not taking those pills". "Awe you're are to pretty to be stubborn ". "Miss Hailey principal Chris wants to see you"said a familiar face that Skai might remember. "Oh .... okay Skai no getting out of bed until I come back okay" Skai simply responded by nodding her head and the nurse with the familiar face left. The day went by slower in the hospital than in a casual room and when night hit the sky, Skai's usual nightmare came back to haunt her the same scenery played over and over again a flame that burns the car, a cry from Emily and a blurry image of who caused the accident "Emily!!" once again sweat dripping off her face and the bed sheets getting wet and the clinic heart meter beeping like crazy as Skai lies back down on the pillow wishing she could remember wishing she could know her illusions.
