“Okay, I’ll get the word out to some of my people to invite him here. How about
Fiscal Baylon?”
No answer.
Special Agent George raised his hand.
“I just had a report from some of our agents, Ma’am, They have tried to serve the
warrant. Unfortunately, no one’s there. They had to force their way in. As of the moment,
they have started searching Fiscal Baylon’s house at Soso Street.”
Inang Maya crossed her arms to her chest. Both Secretary Dilema and Special
Agent George looked at her with anticipation.
Secretary Dilema, however, thought twice and backtracked a little.
“How about Agent Garcia?”
“Well, from what I’ve gathered, he’s already turned off his cell. And there’s
apparently no sign of him in the apartment which he rented near here.”
