"You knew?" Jess asked, looking at Yohan with disappointment in her eyes, she felt so betrayed, knowing that Yohan had an idea about her mom's death but she hid it from her.

And now that she found out the truth. There's no way that Yohan could still hide the real reason for her mother's death.

"I want you to listen to me first." Yohan said calmly but she's already panicking inside her. She know that she would have come to this but she's still not yet ready to reveal everything to her best friend. Yohan doesn't want disappoint Jess, but no matter what she would say or do. The mere fact that she hid the truth all these years, was enough for Jess to give justice to her anger towards Yohan.

"You lied to me, Yohan." There was pain in Jess's voice and Yohan felt the pang in her chest just by hearing her best friend.

"I know, but I was just protecting you."

"Yohan, that's my mother, why do you need to protect me?! Wherein I deserve to know the truth because all my life, I've been living in a lie!"

Yohan shakes her head fervently as she pushes herself up from the floor. "You don't understand, Jess."

"What is difficult to understand? You've been lying to me all these years and that's hard to understand why did you f*****g lie to me?!"

"I didn't lie to you okay? I'm not even the one who told you the reason for your mother's death! They invented it just to protect your identity because you have the power of your mom!" Yohan snapped and she pointed at Jess's chest. "Don't you ever wonder why you have that half stone?!"

"But you knew and you don't have plans telling me!"

"Because you're my best friend!" Yohan yelled back, throwing her arms in the air frustratingly.

Jess suddenly remembered the pendant in her necklace. The stone that she's been wearing as long as she could remember all her life. She was told never to remove it because it is the only thing that her mother gave to her before she passed away. And she remembered the same pendant she saw at Chloe this morning but just ignored it, thinking that there might be a coincidence.

Chloe is her sister, she is the first child and her soul really belongs to Yohan but the latter never mentioned it to her.

"This?" Jess said as she lifted the pendant in front of Yohan then pulled it, snapping the necklace on her neck. "This is the one preventing you from taking my soul, right?" She asked but never got any response from Yohan as she was just looking straight into her eyes. "Then let's get rid of it!" She yelled and threw the stone at the corner of the room. As soon as it detached from her body, Yohan felt some intense oppressive feelings inside her and she suddenly had the urge to do something that she wasn't supposed to do because Jess is her best friend.

"Put it back!" Yohan said while taking steps backward, distancing herself from Jess.

"I'm unsafe now, Yohan. You can take his first child's soul!" Jess said, provoking Yohan as she took steps forward.

"Jess, stop!" Yohan growled. The devil side of hers are getting stronger and trying to take over her as she could already see the soul right through Jess's chest. It is so bright that Yohan gets blind in those dazzling lights coming from Jess's soul.

She has seen something like this before. So pure, delicate and Powerful soul. And she has it inside of her, which gave her too much pain and she had to deal with the pain alone for five years but yet that soul made her the most powerful devil.

Nicole's soul.

That woman is still helping Yohan to get stronger as the days pass by until this moment. She wasn't even strong enough to beat Asmodeus, Leviathan and Malphas. But since she took Nicole's soul. She gained more power and she already beat Malphas, which means she can also beat Asmo and Leviathan, two of the most powerful Devils aside from Satan.

"Jess, please."

Jess stopped from taking another step as she heard Yohan. She's too shocked to hear Yohan begging, because all her life. She hasn't seen Yohan so fragile while asking her to retreat. She didn't even know that they would come to this point that they had to fight because of her past.

"How could you do this to me?" Jess asked, her voice laced with pain and betrayal.

"I'm sorry, okay? It's not my intention to lie but I know that telling you about that will put us into this situation." Yohan said, still not looking at her friend or if she does, she might lose her sanity and forget that Jess is her friend.

"That's inevitable, right? The fact that you know about my mother and yet you chose to lie, what hurts me, Yohan."

"I know, I'm wrong so please, put the necklace on." Yohan begged.

She didn't get any response from Jess, but she could hear her footsteps. After a few seconds, Yohan took the risk of looking at Jess. And there she finally felt relief when Jess put back on her neck the necklace.

"Jess—."

"Maybe we should separate for now." Jess said to cut off whatever Yohan is going to say. "I know that I might be over dramatic but I don't think I can still be with you after all of this." She added, which left Yohan speechless and just staring at her astounded.

Jess looked at Yohan and smiled sadly before turning her heels, one last glance before she finally left. Yohan froze on her spot, she wanted to run after her but she couldn't will her legs to move, not even any nerve of hers wanted to cooperate in her mind.

After Jess disappeared from her sight, Carolina stepped in, running towards her and she slapped Yohan hard, but the latter couldn't feel anything.

"Where is my daughter?!" Carolina asked angrily. Then Carlo popped out and he pulled his wife away from Yohan. "Bring back my daughter!"

"Stop it! Don't mess with the Devil!" Carlo said which snapped out Yohan from her dazed and her face darkened, her eyes changed into her devil's eyes which could make everyone shudder.

"You.." Yohan growled lowly in her throat. "You have been messing up my life since I met you." She added while taking steps forward to Carlo. "You dare to deceive the Devil."

"I k-know and I'm sorry—." Carlo was interrupted when Yohan moved fast in just a blink of an eye and she held Carlo in his neck and lifted him up just using one hand. Carolina was too horrified by what she's witnessing, she could see Yohan's real face, and it made her knees weaken and she dropped on the floor while looking at Yohan horrifically.

"If you kill him, then you can't take Chloe's soul." Asmo said, suddenly popping on Yohan's side. "Do it so I can have Chloe." He added.

He's trying to stop Yohan from killing Carlo, and for what reason? Because he wanted Yohan to suffer. He knew that the Devil loves Chloe, and if ever Yohan killed Carlo, then she has no reason to stay and she needed to go back to hell since she already took the compensation for Carlo's debt. It might not be Carlo's soul what she needed, but it will be enough to let go Jess or Chloe's soul.

And as of this moment. She decided to take Carlo's soul, even as Asmo tried to lure her with Chloe. There's no way in hell she would take her best friend's soul or Chloe's. And after this, she will go back to hell with Agma and forget everything.

The way Jess looked at her before she leaves, giving her more reason to end it all. Though Yohan knew that taking Carlo's won't do her any good, she still chose it. So she slowly pierced her hand into Carlo's chest.

Carlo screamed in agony, while Asmo just shook his head, disappointed that Yohan already made her decision. When Yohan pulls her out from Carlo's body, he has no life at all and there's something glowing in her hand. Mrs. Smith ended up passing out after she witnessed how her husband died in the devil's hands.

Yohan shoved the soul inside her mouth without any emotion other than being disgusted on how a bad soul was going pass through her throat. Then she gulped to swallow down Carlo's soul.

"We're even now." Yohan said while looking at Carlo's lifeless body, then she turned to Asmo. "You don't have anything to do here anymore, so leave Chloe alone." She added and turned her heels.

Agma witnessed all the drama inside Carlo's office. She felt disappointed at Yohan too, but if she's in Yohan's shoes, she would do the same. And it's not even lying if Jess didn't even ask in the first place. She then took a glance at her brother before she followed Yohan, but both of them halted their steps when Asmo spoke.

"Agma, aren't you going to introduce your brother to your friend?"

Agma snapped her head back at her brother with a threatening look. She didn't notice that Yohan was already looking at her.

"I don't know what you're saying." Agma hissed and she continued her walk.

"Since Jess found out the truth, doesn't Yohan deserve to know the truth as well?"

"The truth that you two are siblings? Well sorry to burst your bubble, Asmo. But I know since day one Agma was born." Yohan said with a blank face and she continued her walk.

"You think that I will just let you go for what you did to Malphas?!" Asmo yelled.

"Do what you want, I'm done here." Yohan yelled back as she lifted her hand in the air to dismiss Asmo without even looking back.

"I'm still going to take Chloe!" Asmo yelled again but this time, Yohan stopped but didn't look back. She just stayed in her position and clenched her fists. "If I can't ruin you, then I'll just ruin the lives of your loved ones!" He added when he got an opportunity to provoke Yohan.

"Agma." Yohan called, then she slowly turned to look at Agma. "I already lost Jess and I think it's time for you to go back to your brother so he would stop bothering Chloe."

"No, I will never leave you—."

"You will and I will understand it." Yohan cut her off and she smiled, a sad one that barely reached her eyes. "Just go to him."

"No—." Yohan didn't let Agma to protest as she suddenly disappeared into the thin air.

"Welcome home, Yohan." Satan greeted as soon as Yohan appeared in front of him.

Yohan decided to accept her fate as the new ruler of hell and forget everything that happened on earth land.
