I had a visitor

The wind blew through the house with a powerful passion, scattering old documents as if they were the leaves of fall and banging the doors as if they were its chaotic drum beat - the marching band of one without fingers or hands. Jess smiled but didn't move to her spot as she watched the papers dancing in the air, swaying and looking for a place to fall. It landed right on top of someone's feet and her smile grew wider.

"It's been a long time." Jess said as she brought her gaze up and met those Devil's eyes.

"I've been wondering if you're still mad at me." Yohan said, the corner of her lips lifted upwards.

"It's been a year and you never leave your throne." Jess replied and she leaned back to her chair, scanning the devil in front of her. "I don't see any changes."

"What's there to be changed? I'm already awesomely evil." Yohan joked and they both stifled a laugh. "How are you?"

"I've been waiting for ages to hear that question from you." Jess replied and she stood up, she walked around her table and spread her arms open. "Give me a hug." She demands.

Yohan smiled even wider and shook her head before approaching her best friend and they both hugged each other tightly. "I missed you." She whispered.

"I missed you too, Yohan. I'm sorry for leaving a year ago."

"Nah, I understand your reason." Yohan dismissed and she ruffled Jess's hair.

"So what made you leave the hell?"

"Agma." She replied, earning a ludicrous look from Jess. "What?"

"Oh nothing, I just assumed that you missed me, that's why you decided to get out of your comfort zone."

"Hell was never my comfort zone, Jess." Yohan chuckled.

"But you're a devil." Jess stated a fact.

"And? That doesn't change the fact that I hate it there." Yohan said and they both laughed again. "Anyway, have you heard anything about that demon?"

"Yeah, she was here the other day, visiting me and asking if I'm already done with the potion she asked me to do."

"What potion?" Yohan asked confusedly.

"I don't exactly know where she will use it, but as a witch, making something witchy s**t is my job and she asked me to make a potion for her next target."

"Again, what kind of potion?" Yohan asked again.

"Something that can let her have the power to control someone's mind."

Yohan furrowed her eyebrows because as much as she could remember. Agma can control a human's mind just by whispering to them.

"That's confusing." She said.

"I know, but I never asked. She seems to need it so badly." Jess said with a shrug and she started picking up all the papers that involved her works for the potion she was creating.

"Do you know where she is?"

"She's all around, but she told me that she'll be back by this week so I'm expecting her to show herself later this day or by tomorrow, I'm not sure."

"Let me know if she's here, I need to talk to her." Yohan said and helped Jess to pick up all the papers on the floor.

"Why? Did she do something?"

"Hell was getting crowded and half of them were sent by Agma. She's been spreading evil in the world."

"Aren't you proud of her? She's doing her job so well." Jess asked with a chuckle.

"At some point, I like it, but she's sending innocent souls because she made them evil."

"And?"

"And I don't want those innocent souls suffering in hell just because of her." Yohan replied.

"You know what? She should be the one who's sitting on your throne." Jess said as she looked at Yohan. "No offense."

"No offense taken. But you know me, I don't want some soul who made a mistake just because Agma provoked them. I want soul who deserve their spot in hell. Those humans who wanted to repent for their mistake but it's too late and they need to suffer."

"Wow, you don't deserve your position in hell." Jess said mockingly. "But don't worry, I'll let you know if she shows herself again."

"Thank you." Yohan said and they both fell silent. As if they were thinking of what they are going to say but both hesitating. "So.."

"Don't be shy, ask me and I'm going to answer." Jess said playfully and she punched Yohan before pulling her outside Jess's workshop room.

"Do you hear anything from her?" Yohan asked after she let out a deep breath and took some courage from it to ask that question.

"Yeah of course. I've been talking to Charlene a lot and Ivy has been visiting me recently." Jess said. They were walking to a concrete path without knowing where they were heading.

"So..."

"She has a boyfriend, she took over her dad's company and she was the new CEO, her mom is living in Minnesota with her grandparents, she legally adopted Molly and she's already engaged."

"Wow."

"Wow for being the new CEO or wow because she already has a new lover which is actually new because she had a comeback with Harvey and—."

"Okay, I get it. That's enough. I just want to know if she's doing well and with all the things that you said about her, I think she's fine." Yohan said and slapped Jess's arm. "I should get going."

"What? Too soon? I thought you missed me?" Jess pouted.

"I do, but I can't stay long—." Yohan paused as she stared at Jess amusedly. The latter just suddenly walked out and left her alone without saying anything. "Jess, come on buddy!"

"Just leave Yohan and forget that we're frie—."

"Fine, let's have a drink!" Yohan yelled which made Jess halt her steps and looked over her shoulder. "One drink."

"Forget it—."

"Ugh! Why do you have to be so childish!" Yohan groaned and she ran after Jess and leaped behind the latter and started choking her with her arm.

"I was just kidding!" Jess laughed and punched Yohan's stomach.

Nothing is better than gor reunited with a person you cared so much about. Yohan might be a devil and Jess is a witch, but that doesn't stop them from being close and being good best of friends.

"Hey, you okay?" Harvey asked worriedly and he squeezed Chloe's arm to get her attention.

She's been idling for the past 30 minutes since they left her company. After she read the note, she didn't know what she should feel.

It's been a year and she hasn't heard anything from Yohan. Though Charlene has been dating Jess for two months now, and yet they never mentioned Yohan or anything about Yohan, even Ivy. She didn't know where her boss was and how she was. After one year, she will suddenly write her a note telling her that she was happy to see Chloe.

She was mad rather than happy. Yohan left after she killed Carlo, then Chloe and her mom was so devastated. She resents Yohan, aside from killing her Dad, Yohan abandons her. No signs of her for one year, and now here she is, coming back like nothing happened.

All her anger and hatred towards the devil suddenly came back. She could still remember vividly how she saw her father's lifeless body on the floor while her mom was crying her heart's out. The Lucero's escaped that day after what happened and they pretended that they never associated with the Smith's, especially when Asmo left them alone and he took Agma with him.

She was so devastated and she promised to herself that she will never forgive Yohan for what she did. But then, as the day passed by with no signs of Yohan, the day turned into weeks, into months and became a year.

She already moved on, forgot everything about her past and moved forward. When Harvey pursued her, she gave him a second chance, then Harvey proposed to her last month and she said yes, thinking that it's time to let go of everything.

She's mad at Yohan, but she needs to let go of all of it and focus on herself now. And by the time she was done with the process of moving on, she could smile again and she could say that she's happy now.

Or she just thought so?

"Babe, are you okay?" Harvey asked again.

"Sorry, I'm just tired." Chloe lied and smiled at him forcedly.

"Do you want me to drive you home?"

"Please? I think I need to rest." Chloe said and she picked up her belongings.

Harvey nodded his head even if he's disappointed. He took Chloe's hand and intertwined their hands as they both walked out of the restaurant and drove to Chloe's house.

"Mommy!" Molly yelled excitedly when she saw Chloe at the door.

"Hey, how's your day?" Chloe asked as she bend over to level her adopted child.

"Good and you know what? I had a visitor earlier!" Molly said with her toothily smile. Chloe's smile faded and her heart thudded inside her ribcage, assuming that Yohan visited Molly.

"Really? Who?" Chloe asked even though she already had an idea.

"Aunt Agma!" Molly exclaimed.

Chloe suddenly felt disappointed, but she tried to hide it from the kid. "Oh, uh that's surprising."

"I know right? I haven't seen her for a year!"

"So what did she tell you?" Chloe asked.

"Nothing much, she just checked if I'm doing good and I told her yes." Molly said with a shrug. "I asked her about aunt Yohan but she said that they haven't seen each other yet."

"Maybe aunt Yohan is busy." Chloe said as she stood straight and looked over her shoulder. "Thanks for giving me a ride home."

"You're always welcome babe." Harvey said and he tilted his head to see the kid and waved his hand. "Hi Molly."

"Hi?" Molly greeted back but Harvey could see the frown into the kid's face. He knows that Molly hated him but since Chloe already legally adopted the kid, he can't do much about her but to do his best to get the kid's trust.

"Excited for your upcoming graduation?"

"Of course!" Molly said and she looked back at Chloe. "I'm hoping that aunt Yohan could make it to my graduation day." She pouted.

"Honey, what did I tell you?"

"Don't expect too much or I might get disappointed." Molly said and she twitched her lips. "Anyway, there's nothing wrong if I'm still hoping, right?"

"Of course, but not too much." Chloe said and she bent over to kiss the kid. "Whatever happened, they are still going to be proud of you."

"I know." Molly said and she smiled again. "Are we going to the mall?"

"Actually baby, can we do that tomorrow? I don't really feel well today."

"No worries mom, just take a rest for now." Molly said and she grabbed Chloe's hand and pulled her inside the house and upstairs.

Harvey was left dumbfounded in his spot when Chloe didn't even remember to say goodbye to him. So with a heavy heart, he turned his heels and left.

While Chloe went to her room after taking Molly in her room. She decided to take a bath first before taking a nap. So she headed straight to her bathroom after removing all her accessories, even the necklace, but she paused when she noticed a figure standing outside her balcony. She snapped her head to see who it was but saw nothing. Then when she turned back again to open the bathroom door, she noticed another sticky note at it.

"Disappointed?"

That's the only word written at the note. Chloe crumpled it and was about to throw the note when she turned around, she screamed upon seeing Agma in front of her, not the human Agma, but the demon one. Smirking at her demonically and her eyes were burning, as if she's ready to kill Chloe.

"I can help you to see her if you want." Agma said as she grabbed Chloe's neck and smashed her into the bathroom door. "But first, you must die." She whispered into Chloe's ear.
