Chapter 10 - September

Penelope’s POV

Once again, Summer had come to an end. Hailey and I went shopping for our school supplies and new clothes and shoes. We also had to meet up with the Glee Club to rehearse for the first day assembly. The Glee Club was opening and closing for Principal Hart. We met up a couple days at my place and Hailey’s. Liam and Spencer got a preview but we ended up kicking them out of the basement.

I woke up this morning and walked to the calendar that was hanging on my wall. It was finally September 1st, back to school we went. I walked into the bathroom and took a shower. When I came out I wrapped a towel around my body and hair. I walked towards the sink and brushed my teeth. After I was done doing what I needed to do in the bathroom I walked back into my room. I let the towel that was around my body fall to the floor and I went to my drawers and grabbed some plum lacey underwear. I slipped them on and walked to my closet. I grabbed a pair of capri jeans, a cream tank top and a light short sleeve black cardigan, put it on and went to my vanity to blow dry my hair straight and do my make up. I walked to my mirror, looked at myself, smiled and walk out my bedroom and made my way downstairs. Spencer was sitting at the island having oat meal and milk.

“Good morning Spence” he swallowed his food and took a sip of his milk.

“Good morning to you too Penny.” I smiled and walked to the refrigerator and grabbed a water bottom and put it into my shoulder bag for the day.

“Your not going to eat?” Spencer asked. I shook my head

“Hell no! I don’t think it will stay down. I'm quite nervous for today’s assembly”

“You’ll do great.” I smiled and then both our phones went off. It was Liam, telling us they we’re leaving now and heading over to pick us up. Spencer brought his things in the sink and he ran upstairs to brush his teeth. I grabbed my bag and walked to the door and put my shoes on. Spencer was now at the door putting his shoes on and grabbing his backpack. We both walked out the front door. Liam had just gotten here. I locked the door and walked towards the driveway. Haley made her way to the back and Spencer also sat in the back letting me sit in the front with Liam. I got in and Liam grabbed my face and softly kissed my lips.

“mmmmm” I said. Liam let go of my face and gave me the biggest smile.

“*clears throat*” we heard from the backseat. We turned around to look at our siblings with their eyebrows raised and smiling at us. I slapped both their knees and smiled at them. Liam grabbed my hand and back out of the driveway and drove us to school. When we got there it was already busy. The parking lot was already packed with vehicles. Liam found a parking spot and we all got out and made our way inside the school. We all made our way to our lockers to put everything in. Haley and I we’re at our lockers when I heard Taylor.

“Hey Liam…” I turn around and she had her hands all over him. I turned back and put my head on my locker. Haley put her hand on my shoulder.

“You know you don’t have to worry right?” with my forehead still on the cold metal I shook my head.

“I know! Really I do. It’s just super hard you know. Your brother is just too d*mn hot…”I whisper to her. “…and I know that until we come out as a couple things like that…”I point to them. “…will happen.” With a sad face “I don’t know if I can do it and I'm not ready to tell anyone…” I added

“Penny!” Haley started “You’re the strongest person I know.” She leans in and whisper “Liam’s obsess with you. Let’s go, we have to get to the assembly before people starts going in.” As we’re heading to the gymnasium I looked over at Liam, he smiled at me and winked. I smiled back at him. Haley and I made our way to the backstage and met up with the rest of the club. Very quickly the gymnasium was being filled up with students and the school staff. Within minutes we we’re on stage and did our first number which was Back to School from the movie Grease 2. After we we’re done Principal Hart came on stage and thank us and went on about talking about the school year fundraisers, curriculum and any events that will be happening throughout the year. She took the time welcome the freshmen to Perryfield Kodiaks High School. Principal Hart concluded by telling the Seniors to enjoy their last year. You heard the cheering from them. For a split second I realized this was my last year at school with Liam.

“Let’s enjoy one last song from our very own Glee Club” Principal Hart said. Before she got off stage she gave me the microphone.

“Before we start this year and head into our 1st class of the day, we would like to welcome everyone back and if anyone wants to sign up we’ll have a sign out sheet on the board by the office. But for now Enjoy!” I gave the microphone to Principal Hart, she walked off stage and I took my place beside Haley and Megan. Haley, Megan and I got in front of our group and lead the way with Wannabe from Spice Girls. When we we’re done we made our way off the stage. Haley and I made our way to our locker and head to our first class. Luckily for us we had Math together. Before we knew it, it was finally lunch time. We head to the cafeteria, the boys we’re already sitting at a table with the rest of their friends. Haley, Megan, Kyle and myself went in line to grab our food. I wasn’t that hungry but still grabbed a garden salad, an apple and orange juice. I turned around and saw Spencer waving at us.

“The guys saved us a sit.” I waved them to follow. We got to the table and I sat beside Liam. He was on my left and Kyle on my right. While Haley was sitting beside Spencer with Megan beside her. Liam turned towards me and gave me a big smile and lean a bit.

“You we’re great today babe.” He whispered in my hear. I was having a conversation with Kyle when I suddenly felt someone pushing me. I turned my head to notice Taylor making her way between Liam and I. She had one of her legs over the bench when Liam turned and grabbed her leg to move it.

“You serious Taylor?” She had a confused look on her face. “Can’t you see Nelly is sitting beside me?” she sent me a nasty glare and I just looked at Liam. “Now f*ck off would you. Thanks.” She was so pissed. She took off and Liam brought me a bit closer to him. After we we’re done eating we made our way to our locker for our next class.

“Your seriously not in my next class Hales?”

“Sorry, I have English.”

“Ahhhh!” I flipped my head back. “I have Science with Mr Moore…” Liam wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

“No way, I do too.” I looked at him.

“How? It’s a grade 11 class?” Liam put his lips into a thin line and let out a sigh.

“I fail Science last semester.”

“Well your in luck. Ill make sure you pass.” He winked at me. When we got into the classroom Mr Moore had assigned seats. When we looked on the board for our seat we realized we we’re seated together. I turned around and Liam high fived me. I could really get used in having more classes with Liam. Our table was the last one in the back of the classroom. Liam kept his hand on my thigh the whole time. Before we knew it, it was the end of the school day. The days turned into weeks, September was coming to an end.

Liam's POV

It was September 21st, the month was almost over and it meant that my birthday was just a couple days away. That also meant that I was having a party for my birthday this Saturday with a few friends over and hoping that Nelly would sleepover. My dad had a conference out of town and brought my mom. It was perfect timing for me. I dropped off Nelly and Spencer at their house after school, I turn to see Haley getting out.

“Aren’t you coming home?”

“Hell no! Tonight is the premier of OTH.”

“OT what?”

“One tree hill! Penny and I are watching it together.” Nelly leaned on my window.

“Your more then welcome to stay.” She didn’t have to tell me twice. I got out of the vehicle and saw Haley rolling her eyes. We made it inside and Nelly ordered pizza for us for supper.

Spencer and I weren't quite excited about watching that show Haley was talking about, One tree hill, I think? But I wanted to spend some time with Penelope. We sat on the couch in the basement. Girls we’re in the middle, Spencer was on Haley’s side and I was on Nelly’s side. Before Nelly put it on CW she looked at Spencer and I and started talking.

“Okay, so here is what you need to know…” she starts “…Nathan and Lucas are step-brothers. They don’t like each other. They have the same dad, Dan Scott. Biggest Jerk! They’re also on the school basketball team, The Ravens. Brooke and Peyton are on the Cheerleading squad. Haley is Lucas’ best friend and she’s a tutor. She tutor’s Nathan, they fall in love and get married.”

“okay!” I said.

“What season is this?” Spencer asked.

“Season 2.” Replied Haley.

“Did you say a main character is named Haley?” I asked Nelly

“Yup. And…”she had a big smile on her face. “…Brooke’s middle name is Penelope.” I couldn’t help it, I started laughing. She slapped my chest. I grabbed her and kissed her. She was caught off guard. She turned to face the television and put on One Tree Hill.

The rest of the week went by quick. It was finally Saturday and I was getting ready for the day. Nelly came over to help me. She had a sad look on her face.

“What’s the matter?” I asked her.

“It’s nothing.”

“It has to be something if you haven’t really spoken to me since you got here.” I sat down and showed her to come sit on my lap. She sat down on me but was looking at the floor.

“What’s wrong Nelly?”

“It’s just…” she started then she sighted “…it’s your birthday party and I can’t even be holding your hand or kiss you or sit on you…” I kissed her lips “…when our friends are going to be here.” She finished.

“You want to be by my side tonight? You be by my side. You feel like your being left out? You tell me and I promise I’ll make sure your not.” She gave me a quick smile. We went back to getting the house ready, getting snacks out and putting the drinks in the refrigerator in the laundry room. When I went for a shower I grabbed Haley’s hand to follow me. I put on the shower and started undressing her and myself. We went in and the warm water was dripping on us. I started rubbing her shoulders, she turned around and I grabbed her face and slowly brought my lips to hers. We we’re in a heated kissing session. I lifter her leg up and my d**k was rubbing against her cl*t. I slowly inserted it and we had very intimate shower s*x. We washed ourselves and wrapped our bodies with a towel and went into my bedroom to get ready.

It was almost 7pm and I couldn’t stop starring at Nelly. I wanted to take her in my bed right now. But unfortunately for me we didn’t have enough time. She looked absolutely breathtaking. She was wearing a jeans skirt with a cream blouse, her hair was curled up and light make up, just the way I love it.

Most of the night Nelly was beside me and my arm was always around her shoulder. We started getting a few stares from other people. Like she was afraid off. She decided to go see her friends and leave me with the football guys, minus Spencer. The guy went outside for fresh air.

“Are you and Penelope a thing or what?” one of the guys from our team asked.

“We’re really good friends.” That wasn’t a lie. We’ve always been so close.

“Good!” the guy who’s name is Noah said. I looked at him with a very questioning look. “Look at her…” I turned to look at her. “…she’s f*cken gorgeous. Im going to get in her pants…in this case her skirt.” Before I knew it I lodge myself at him and started punching him. The guy was against my refrigerator and I was just giving it to him.

Penelope's POV

After a few stares from other people at the party I decided that it was time for me to head out to see my friends. They we’re outside at a table playing Thumb Master. It’s a very fun drinking game. Haley, being petite was a bit wasted. Megan was definitely not to far away. Kyle on the other hand was still pretty sober. I decided to join them. I had taken a couple of shots when I started hearing commotion inside the house. We all got up and decided to go have a look. Haley and I made our way in first. When I saw Liam punching that guy I gasp. My hands we’re now to my mouth. His friends we’re trying to move him without any luck. I made my way to him and put my hand on his bicep. He felt my touch and he calmed down.

“Let him go Liam.” I gently asked him. His eyes we’re big and red. He was extremely angry but why? His hands fell on his side and he put his head on my shoulder.

“Let’s go in your room…” before I could finished he grabbed my hand and we went into his room. After we got in I locked the door behind us. We sat on his bed quickly for a few minutes until his anger came rushing back.

“That f*cken a$$hole was saying sh*t about you. How he was going to get into your pants…skirt.” I put a hand on one of his cheek. “I got so mad, I lodge at him and punched the sh*t out of him.” I grabbed his other cheek and put my forehead against his.

“I don’t know if I can keep this…” pointing at the both of us. “…a secret. I want everyone to know that your mine.” He grabbed my hand.

“I’m not quite ready Liam…” he shook is head.

“Ya! I get it.” Liam got off the bed and I could see how frustrated he was. Before saying anything else he unlocked the door and made his way downstairs to the party. I was left alone in his room. After a few minutes I made my way downstairs as well. I grabbed a drink and went back outside. I was now fuming. The rest of the night was a blur. Except when Alicia was dancing and rubbing herself on Liam. He looked at me and I rolled my eyes, chugged my drink and went to get another one in the laundry room. What a sl*t! I bend over to grab another one when felt some hands on my waist. I turned around and Liam was standing in front of me. He grabbed my face and kissed me, tears starting coming down.

“Im sorry Nelly.” He locked the door of the laundry room and lifted me up on the dryer , took his c*ck out and moved my panties on the side and before I even knew it he was inside of me. It felt so right, yet so wrong. We both came, he wiped himself off and kissed me.

“I have to get back…” before he could finish.

“You do that!” I was frustrated with him. I felt used. It’s almost like he was making sure I knew I was his but also punishing me. If it makes any sense. He shook is head and made his way out. I sighted and got off the dryer and cleaned myself off. I walked out and went into the guesthouse. I most have fallen asleep because when I open my eyes Liam was standing beside me. I rubbed my eyes. He looked so sad.

"What time is it?"

"Around 3pm, everyone is gone....Nelly…” he paused “Im so f*cken sorry. I didn’t mean to treat you this way. The guy made a comment and it made me so f*cken angry. The fact that I can’t tell the world how much I love you is killing me inside.” To my surprise Liam eyes we’re red. Not from being tired or angry but from crying. I grabbed his hands and led him onto the bed. This time I was the one laying on my back and his head was on my shoulder. I kept rubbing his head and kissing his forehead. He rested his hand on my stomach and started rubbing it in circling motion.

“I love you Nelly.”

“I love you so very much Liam” we slowly drifted off.
